My partner and I missed our plane to return home and had to suddenly check into a new hotel for the night. I redeemed a free night through my online hotel booking service, but when we got to the hotel with all our baggage, they didn't have the booking in their computer yet. The desk staff were completely gracious and...

The Waikiki Beachside has got to be one of the best values in Waikiki. It is is right in the middle of the action in Waikiki. The room was quaint, and towels were replaced and it was thoroughly cleaned and swept everyday. Not extravagant, but we didn't go to Hawaii to visit a hotel room. No nasty hotel carpet, all...

The hotel is at a great location, right across from Waikiki Beach. For the money we paid, we have nothing to complain about. It is small, the elevator is small, etc., but who cares? We went there because we wanted to go to Waikiki beach and needed a place to stay. I did not like that the bathroom was small,...

We selected this hotel primarily based on price and location....we were staying only one night. The great part is the location, so for one night it was okay for us. We checked in very quickly, and went to our room to change and get back out to explore Waikiki. The room interiors were worn and tired....and we found the elevators...

We visited in March 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The price was perfect for our budget, and we loved walking out the door and there was the beach right across the street. Restaurants and shopping were close by. A convenience store next door is perfect for breakfast supplies and other items. We especially appreciated the extra help from Douglas...

Lovely small hotel in a perfect location, right across from Waikiki Beach. Close to public transport, shops and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Douglas and Greg were always there to assist. The room was small but comfortable. It would have been better if there was a kettle and toaster so I could make my own breakfast. The...

I came to Waikiki because I was invited to teach at an educational conference. I was recommended by the conference organisers to choose Waikiki Beachside because it was reasonably priced. I was delighted to realise what a fantastic location it is! I quickly realised it is one of the smaller hotels on Kalakaua Avenue. What an advantage that was! I...

And you can too!...But more on that in a bit.... I stayed here only 1 night after a 7 night stay at the Hyatt a block over. I changed to a next day flight and decided I just wanted something dirt cheap for my final extra night. Overall, factoring in the price paid ($67 total with 60 day online advance...

We only stayed there for a 24-hr layover. If you are someone who wants all the frills of an "antiseptic" hotel, this place isnt for you. HOWEVER, if you want to get out and enjoy waikiki, this hotel is definitely a place I would stay at again on my dime. Location? You cant ask for better, for it is across...
