Equus ..ALOHA ....made us feel like family! From the valet, to front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and bell service my family was totally blown away by the ALOHA SPIRIT here. Rene was easy to work with booking our family vacation. Our special request for an earlier check in was greatly appreciated. Thank you for a memorable family vacation! Nuuanu 'Ohana

The Equus is a well appointed, conveniently located boutique hotel, with perhaps some of the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever experienced. Everyone there personifies the true Hawaiian meaning of "Aloha". From reception to check out all staff members made us feel like we were guests in their own home. Renee, Yoshi, and the entire staff were attentive...

What a great, accessible place to stay. Located very close to Ala Moana Shopping Center (walking distance) and accessible to Waikiki. This place was near a lot great eateries as well. Making our stay very convenient and enjoyable!

I booked this hotel because it came up on my app when I was looking for a hotel under the Comfort Inn chain. This was a nice hotel, staff went out of their way to give each person 5 star service. My friends and I only stayed one night before boarding NCL Pride of America - it's location was great!

We enjoyed our stay simply because we were looked after without staff being in your face. House keeping got on with the job in a quiet professional way. Location was great we could walk to Ala Moana and to several family restaurants. We also had a short walk to the beaches. Loved access to the balcony but it did let...

Pros: This hotel is in a great location for food, mall, conference centers, and beach. For the week we stayed it was the best price place in that area. Compared to other places in this area, the parking fee was reasonable. Room was okay. Cons: noisy due to thin walls and single pane windows. The pool is in the shade...

This is well located on Ala Moana Blvd very near the large shopping center and across the street from a Red Lobster, Outback and a local pub. McDonalds is less than a block away and a small store on the corner sells everything including beer, wine and liquor. We really enjoyed the Friday evening Mai Tai's made by and served...

We stayed at the Equus for the 2016 marathon. Great location, can sleep in the morning of marathon as it 15 min walk to start line. Close to beach, shops and tons of restaurants. Great Acai bowls at Tropical Tribe (1 block away). Paul at the front desk was very helpful. If we do the marathon again, this is the...

Certainly wasn't overly impressed. Everyday we had to have the air conditioner worked on/reset. You never knew what it was going to do. It could be pleasant when you went to bed and like an ice box in the AM. The road noise was terrible even on the 9th floor. When we checked in the sheets on the bed had...

My wife and I had read a lot of the reviews from those who have previously stayed at the Equus Hotel (both good and bad) before we arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii. Nevertheless, we both kept and open mind, and in the end, we were struck with a lasting impression by the Aloha Spirit from ALL of the employees from the...
