Many first time visitors to Hawaii from Australia tend to go for packaged trips which put you into a hotel on the beach with no view for 5 nights. We wanted to stay longer this trip and asked my friend at Travel Managers to look for hotels within walking distance of the beach where we could stay for a minimum... More

We stayed at Ohana Waikiki East for 7 nights. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping team. We had a couple of minor issues (mostly with room key cards...) but nothing that the hotel staff didn't resolve. Our kitchenette unit microwave had apparently been damaged by previous guests, so the maintenance department... More

We found the Ohana Waikiki East a great place to stay. Close to the beach, opposite the market place which allowed us to buy food to keep in the fridge to cut down on food costs. Friendly and helpful staff.

Rooms are clean and tidy. A bit tired looking but none the less. It is in a great location where you are not far from anything. Staff are very pleasant and always greet you when they see you. Pool area is good but the pool could do with Solar Heating.

Stayed here in June 2015 (November was the earliest date this app would let me put!) and had a fantastic time. Had a slight issue on check in as we had booked a twin room and had been given a double. They were no rooms available to change to that night so a fold out bed was sent to our... More

We spent 7 nights at this hotel. The room was very small. No microwave. Very small refrigerator. Charge a resort fee of 15$ per day. Not very resort like. Thought we were going to have a city view and all we saw was the back of another hotel. On the positive it was within walking distance to beach.(3blocks)

Hotel very central. Room comfortable, clean and quiet and had kitchenette. Internet access A1. Travel agent recommended after staying there herself. The pink line trolley bus was free with show of room card. Tanaka restaurant was great. Believe steakhouse was also good but didn't get there. Close to many other food outlets. Waikiki Beach approx 1.5 blocks walk.
