Unfortunately I got what I paid. The location is great! But my room was horrible, everything was old 9th floor to be exact; old furniture, carpet, drapes etc!!! I wish I paid the extra duly fee they offer me before and have a better room.

We recently stayed two nights at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel in Waikiki. We loved the location at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki. It was only a block from the beach and very convenient to Kapiolani Park, Honolulu Zoo, Honolulu Aquarium and other Waikiki attractions. The staff was pleasant. However, the hotel itself is really run down. Our room on...

We were looking forward to our stay in this hotel, until we arrived and something had gone wrong with our booking. The staff made minimal effort to assist us and made us feel unwelcome. Other then that, the hotel is in a nice location, and the rooms are normal for what you would find in hawaii.

Hi airmacd, Thank you for sharing your review of your stay with us in Waikiki. We appreciate your compliments on our accommodations and ideal location on the calmer side of the Waikiki strip. However, we are surprised to read that the service you received from some of our team was less than satisfactory, as this is not the typical feedback...

loved our stay there in room 1414. View of Diamond Head, the zoo and the beach all from a 14th floor balcony. Not sure if it was wind or traffic, but there was kind of a "roar" outside at times. Nothing that kept us awake. Check-in was quick and friendly. The room & bath were spacious enough for 3 adults....

A very dated and tired hotel. It's two saving graces were the (mostly) friendly staff and a comfortable bed. We were allocated possibly one of the most dismal rooms I've ever stayed in anywhere; room M-01 at the back of the hotel on the mezzanine floor. It was clean but depressing. It's air conditioning unit was so loud kept us...

I've stayed at this hotel every time I have visited Honolulu, 5 times now. The hotel is at the end of the "strip" and basically right across the street from Kuhuio Beach. Unobstructed view of Diamond head from many rooms since the Zoo is across the street in that direction. You can even see the elephants sometimes if you have...

I asked for a room in a quiet area when booking but maybe there's nowhere quiet in Waikiki because this was the noisiest room I've ever had the misfortune of spending 3 nights in. I was in the end room and the wall turned out to not be a wall, it seemed to be boarded up window as I could...

What an awesome hotel! If staying in Waikiki, it would be very hard to find a better hotel than this is.
