We stayed 2 nights in the Old Quarters King room, which is a large room with good amenities and slightly more of a boutique hotel style rather than grandma's parlour. The breakfast was excellent and we had a very nice dinner in Cafe Anchuca. The pool and outside sitting areas are lovely and we took full advantage of these facilities...

Enjoyed our stay in the huge Davis Suite of this Southern Mansion. A night of olde worlde southern style on a high comfy bed under a canopy in the main house. You are welcome to wander and enjoy the parlours and library which are public rooms. The grounds are lovely too. Breakfast is included in the B&B experience as is...

This is a long delayed travel review. My wife and I visited Anchuca over 10 years ago and I promised that I would write a review. How about that for procrastination. The thing that kept nagging me was that I had a wonderful time, yet I had never fulfilled my promise. To start with, when we arrived we had rented...

Took a group of 5 here for a special evening. The server was good, but the food was so-so. I would have enjoyed Applebees more. The bill was $200 for 5 people with no alcohol and only two desserts. At $50 a plate, I expected a meal to remember.

Stayed one night in Ellen's room which was extremely comfy & beautifully furnished complete with canopied bed. We had the pool to ourselves for a swim before dinner. We ate dinner in the restaurant & it was very good as was the service. Next morning we had a delicious breakfast. We then watched the video on the history of the...

Vicksburg is worth a visit just to stay in this historic, comfortable and cool B&B. We had the king room in the slave quarters which despite its sad history was perfect. Dinner and breakfast were very good. The place is haunted but we did not experience any paranormal activity! Perhaps it was the wine...

We stayed in the carriage house of Anchuca for 2 nights in September 2016, the house is beautiful and as a guest you have nearly full access. The pool is great for a cool down in the evenings. The manager and owner were excellent and generous with their time and great suggestions for sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and set...

The mansion is surreal in its elegance. Every square inch has a story it could tell. In many of the rooms we felt as if we were transported back in time....what an experience. Our breakfast was superb. The chef had the morning off, so our breakfast was prepared by the manager, Saundra. How lucky for us! Her breakfast was delicious...

We stayed at Anchuca for almost a week, and while the mansion is gorgeous, the breakfast was lacking. Don't know if they were changing chefs, but the same breakfast every day was, well, boring; nothing to write home about. We made the mistake having brunch on Sunday and on another night, dinner. Both were overpriced and was not what we...

I want to extend a warm "thank you" to Tom and his entire staff for making our 2 days in Vicksburg so perfect. We were allowed to enjoy all of the amenities of the property as if they were our own. The food was so good we chose to eat at Anchuca both nights of our visit. On our second...
