Camping here was awkward - many of the campsites are basically in a large field with no trees and therefore no privacy. Campsites are packed close like sardines. No showers available, but restrooms are nice and clean. Staff is knowledgable and friendly. This was a...More

First, I want to say that the people at the registration building were quite friendly with the exception of Linda from Wyoming. Perhaps she was having a bad day, I'll give that to her. The rest of the group was friendly and helpful. In fact,...More

Lovely place to park yourself whilst visiting Yellowstone National Park. Surrounded by nature and kept alert trying to spot any wild animals. Bays are separated, quiet at night and easy to set off for the next day's touring.

Our site was in the lower section of the campground, near the main entrance. Very little privacy, in fact, it felt like we were camping in a field. However, we were visiting during peak tourist season and were just happy to have a campsite. At...More

Do you think they would allow campers to bring their own solar shower to use while camping?

Hi, I have a 36ft travel trailer and truck. Will the people at Bridge Bay measure my trailer if I am trying to park in a 35ft site? All 40ft sites are reserved for the entire summer, so 35ft sites are all that are left. Has anyone had a similar experience? or were turned away? Thanks,

When I stayed there, I didn't see any measuring going on. I think as long as you are not obstructing any passage, you might get by. You can always make an anonymous phone call and find out!
