This is a perfect location within the park to visit all the attractions. Although this hotel is registered on the list of Historic Hotels, it offers all of the amenities that you would like and expect. The staff was attentive, polite and most accommodating. The menu offerings are limited for those staying for an extended period within the Park. Enjoy...

We stayed 1 night here. Stunning location & the hotel has many great features- lovely bar and lounge area, great views & super staff. We had a first class dinner & an ok breakfast. Hotel is very expensive & the room was noisy at night. Staff were excellent but organisation at times was not the best.

Lake Yellowstone Hotel is a beautiful property and nicely appointed. The rooms are largess very clean. Note that the radiator it makes weird noises in the middle of the night, loud clicking sounds, etc. we found climate controlled to be a little bit tricky. The rooms have wired Internet but there is no Wi-Fi. The hotel also has a lovely...

Nice historic hotel but expensive because no real competition in the park. Beware seating in main dining room only with prior reservation. No real alternative: there is only a skeleton coffee shop. Small room. No TV. Last but not least virtually no Internet: no WiFi and small crowded business center.

Hotel is beautiful! However we stayed in a cabin. Nice and clean but bed was so uncomfortable along with the pillows being uncomfortable also. Took a shower after my husband and I completely ran out of hot water before I finished. May in Yellowstone rinsing off with cold water is no fun, water was freezing cold! Cabin was clean but...

We stayed here for one night and I can simply say the views, ambiance and class are well worth the higher price! It has a quiet atmosphere right on the lake with spectacular lake views and really close proximity to wildlife along the way to Artist Point! Simply a magnificent operation.

First impressions from outside are a bit off putting, but after a short while we accepted that the cabin was clean and comfortable and met all that was needed for the 2 days we spent at Lake Yellowstone.

First, the good: Its a beautiful historic hotel on the shore of Lake Yellowstone - what we used to call "swanky." The large staff were unfailingly helpful and polite. The not so good: It's quite expensive and not a great value. Rooms are small and have none of the typical amenities (TV, WiFi, refrigerator/microwave). I was able to get minimal,...

Yes, it was $400 a night for the main hotel. However, the 2014 renovation is stunning. The rooms are smallish but well appointed, and I was very impressed by the quality of the bathroom fixtures. Very clean. Million dollar view on the lake side makes it worth it. If you want luxury in such a remote area, you have to...

We stayed at the Yellowstone Lake cabins. Saved some money vs. staying in the hotel. Not much to look at on the outside and there is no view from inside (but who goes to Yellowstone to stay in?) Inside the cabins are clean and comfortable. 2 queen beds would be great for family. Full bath w/great smelling soap. Quiet. Short...
