Our experience at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp was simply wonderful! If you want an authentic Heminway-like safari experience in an absolutely beautiful location, then this is the place!! I can't recommend it enough! We didn't want to leave! The camp is small and intimate with gorgeous views of the Ewaso Nqiro River. Each spacious tent is situated in front of...

We stayed at Alex's camp for two nights before heading off with him for a four night walking safari. Everything about our trip was perfect. All the facilities at camp were first class with delicious food and very helpful, friendly staff. The fly camping was brilliant and we would thoroughly recommend extending your stay to include this if you can.

Ol Pejeta Bush Camp is a really comfortable friendly camp. The tents are spacious and with lovely views into the bush. The beds were warm and comfy in the very cold nights with toasty hot water bottles. There was a spacious bathroom area with the usual bucket shower providing plenty of hot water and a flushing loo. The atmosphere in...

We're just back from an incredible weekend at Bush Camp; thanks Alex, Nonie, Duma, Abdi, Simon, James and team - we loved it! The tented camp is set on the banks of a river, there's great views and game all around. The luxury tents had everything; the team were incredibly attentive and friendly. The bush walk with Alex Hunter, Duma...

My wife and I came to Kenya to explore Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of the most important wildlife conservancies in Africa. I researched options for accommodations and chose Ol Pejeta Bush Camp. Alex Hunter, a 3rd generation Kenyan, has created a camp with the authentic feel of a 1950's safari. It turned out to be a brilliant choice. Located on...

What is a bush camp? We were delighted to see a large canvas tent with two rooms. They zipped us in every night and provided a 'bush shower'. Seven minutes of heated water poured from a bucket which turned out to be a lot of fun. The dining tent served gourmet food buffet style. Our only complaint was dinner was...
