One of the places to relax while stay in Nanyuki or while on transit. this is one of the places you will get time to relax, enjoy your meals as well as food. Take your time and visit the place at any time or season.
This is one of the coolest places to be at any time you are in Nanyuki, the base of Mt Kenya. I remember taking my seven (7) friends from Nairobi, Kenya Commercial Bank Head Quarters (KenCom) for the two days Business Trip. It was awesome Also my few friends that had come for the Nanyuki Sevens on 10-11 September 2016 at the Nanyuki Sports club, had good times and the best of wishes, is that they could spend more time in The Family Comfort Hotel. This is the place off all season, enjoying the cool breeze next to the river, conducive enrolment, silent, delicious meals swimming pool as well as party garden to hold a function or party. “karibu nanyuki, karibu Family Comfort Hotel” “Welcome nanyuki, welcome to the Family Comfort Hotel”
The family comfort is perfectly located in the centre of the town, but in a way that the noises of town don’t disturb your sleep. There is secured parking on the compound. The rooms are spacious and clean with tv, hot shower, sitting toilet, mosquito nets and an own patio and a strong wifi in the rooms! From the hotel compound you can also find a very good tour operator, a spa, car hire and a restaurant.

The booking experience was efficient, had captured details well, despite having to use cell phone transactions since their email/internet was down. The bathroom, and towels were pathetic. Who places torn towels in rooms in this era? The toiletries were not enough. No Mosquito bed nets despite the place having some mosquitoes. We had not booked meals , though we opted to have dinner there, the fish fillet was okay, something one could manage, though nothing to write home about. The lamb (fry) was like cow hide, dry and unpalatable, had to throw it away. Amenities, you have to pay for swimming (half the charge) when you are a resident. Other we did not venture into. breakfast, was basic, the most annoying part was that the staff were busy cleaning the whole area while we were there, the smell of soapy water and dust made us rush the breakfast and you could see them hovering over in some impatience, this was at 8am. Though a budget hotel, they need to improve greatly on all areas, the bedding and towels need to be thrown away and new ones bought.…
