Came here looking for a cheap & clean place to stay. Got it. Comfortable bed, good bathroom, hot water, good location in town. Nothing fancy here. Just what I wanted. WiFi is weak & intermittant but I suspect that's the standard in this town. Nice lounge area in back with hammocks. In-house restaurant up front with lotsa cold beer available.

Enjoyed staying here. The room was okay, food was quite good and reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant and attentive. Nothing really stands out about the hostel but overall pretty good. It does have some cool features such as a tv room and hammocks in the garden.

We stayed in Pan's Place for 2 nights, we felt really welcomed and the staff and Pan were great and helpful! My boyfriend managed to lose his passport in Laos and everybody helped us with all they had to find it. After making several (inland) calls from their phone we even managed to get it back! The private room was...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in different rooms. Despite one night all of the rooms were pretty good. To me it was all about the atmosphere of the relaxed area and the very friendly staff. Really good place to stay if you want to balance a little between party and chill!

This was fine to stay for a few nights - the staff were helpful and the food served in the restaurant was good. The shower was warm! There was internet which worked ok. Free refills of water at reception. Laundry available. Good location, near to town but far enough away to not be affected by noise. Only downside is that...

We stayed at Pans Place for 4 nights after reading good reviews of the friendly staff and homely atmosphere. Our experience didn't live up to these reviews. We didn't find the staff to be friendly (not unfriendly either, just not bothered) and almost put out if you asked them a question. The food in their onsite restaurant is overpriced for...

Pan's Place is a good place to stay in Vang Vieng because you can meet a lot of people in the chill-out area and the staff tried their best to make it a pleasant stay for you. Downturn was that our room was a bit smelly but got helped with air spray and the mountain bikes are anything else but...

The staff here are very friendly. The rooms at pan's place are small. They are clean but look grubby. A repaint and touch up of the plaster would make the rooms look much better. Tepid water from the shower. Beds were very comfy, good fan. This was a very cheap room but for the price it was good.

Pro: I loved the bungalow style dorm rooms. They were clean and comfortable. Nice chill area to relax and meet others. Lots of bathrooms. Some of them have working hot water and others dont. In a quiet area on the south side of the main strip. Has a restaurant- food is alright. Near tons of other restaurants and shops. Close...

Pan's Place is located in central Vang Vieng with lots of other hostels, restaurants, and tour companies. Pan was so friendly and helpful and helped us book a bus to Vientiane very easily. We got a private room with private bathroom- amenities are very basic but you can't really ask for much more for the price ($19 CAD per night...
