Simple, quaint, clean, friendly, great value. All staff were amazing after I was involved in an accident. Manager came to hospital to make sure I was ok, translate and bring me home to a room with beautiful roses beside my bed! Will return, a great place to chill and relax.

Silver beach is located at the north end of the southern part of Ngapali beach - a ten minute walk from a cluster of beachside restaurants and with a few restaurants on the road behind the hotel. Located in a nice garden it features small, simple huts all facing the beach or with direct beachview and a little veranda, rooms...

Do you like depressing views of a construction site? Do you enjoy showers that are so weak that you can't wash your hair or sand off your feet? This is the place for you... Booked a room with a single, double bed instead they gave me a room with twin beds. Not a big deal except the room is a...

After taking your shoes off in plentiful temples around Myanmar, you take them off once again to walk barefoot on the powdered sands of the Bengal Bay. The resort spreads around a garden, directly on the beach. You don't even need to pay an extra to get the sea-view bungalows, since you have a nice view of the beach even...

Great hotel with wonderful manager and staff. They were very kind to us and helped us change money. Partial ocean view bungalows have a fabulous view. Beach is very clean with plenty of beach chairs. Rooms were very clean although a bit old. The porch had comfy chairs for watching the sunset. Great breakfast. Only con was there was no...

Lovely staff. Absolutely gorgeous location, this beach and water are outstanding. The rooms are a little spartan and seem to allow mosquitos in through the screens. Not many tourists in January, which was nice.

reading the previous reviews, I think the Silver Beach hotel has much improved. the garden is lovely, the facilities are good and they have a very broad private beach. but I also only stayed in the apartments for 75$ per night. the restaurant however was not satisfactory, which is not a problem because there are plenty of other choices close...

Right at the end of the beach this hotel has a perfect location. It is simple no frills but has everything you need, lovely friendly staff, always clean and has delicious food and in addition the cheapest menu we found on the beach! The breakfast buffet is great and sitting on their deck next to the sea crabs and palm...

We came just to eat lunch in the restaurant and we had a pretty normal/bad lunch. My barbeque squid was all burnt and it was hard and other parts chewy. There is many better restaurants which are also cheaper.

“You could save money by getting one of the rooms in the block of apartments just back from the beachside chalets. They looked perfectly clean and spacious, have their own verandas overlooking a wide lawn and are still only 20 yards or so from the beach and other amenities enjoyed by the more expensive rooms.”
