We stayed for a week in March and can't fault this place. The location is superb, rooms basic but clean and comfortable with good aircon and bathroom. The staff (thank you Mr Bang!) are just lovely - very helpful, friendly and pleasant to deal with. This is not the place for you if you expect 5 star facilities but if...

We had a Nice Holiday at Baan Koh Mak. We had family 1 bungalow which was perfect in size for 2 adults and 2 kids. The view was perfect. The bungalows are very modern, but too dirty in my opinion. Very Dusty and old dirty spots everywhere. And the outside sorroundings could also need a "cleaning". The staff there is...

Booked through bookings.com. Only one type of room available. When contacted resort for sea view was informed 400 baht per night extra and not on booking site. Beautiful sea view but why not advertise on booking site? Rooms only cleaned every second day? No kettle or fridge or safe in room. Fitted sheets don't fit properly resulting in sleeping on...

Having been happy last year (see my review Feb 2016) we booked here again but were surprised that the price had increased by 10%. There was no improvement for the customer - still no fridge or TV, inadequate provision for storing clothes, poor lighting, no in-room WiFi and no breakfast included. Also, unlike others, there is no discount available if...

The resort is right on the beach near to the speedboat pier, so really easy to get to. The welcome was really warm. The huts are ultra modern, but superbly finished and really clean. Good quality aircon. They are sparcely furnished, no TV - but the resort is all about being on the beach, not in your room. The beach...

Good: I normally don't prefer too modern bungalows but this one I actually liked. Good location basically on the beach, lovely beach bar with chill-out house music, very helpful and friendly staff (I didn't manage to meet the unfriendly German). Great price for value. Bad: Nowhere to store your stuff in the bungalow A bit bad smell in the toilet,...

This hotel has small huts literally on the beach, the rooms are basic but modern and good. The restaurant at this resort is open air and is again pretty much on the beach and the food is very good. You can hire kayaks and mopeds from the resort at a good price.

I stayed there in April for 4 nights. This was my second time at Baan Koh Mak, December was my first. Rooms were very simple, clean and beds were comfortable. Nice hot shower but no fridge. Food at the restaurant really lovely and very reasonable. Barbecue in the evening on the beach is very nice too and their seafood sauce...
