An enthusiastic Italian couple with a fine knowledge of food preparation in a lovely waterfront location with excellent cabanas, beautifully made and well outfitted. No hot water and their dogs kept us awake 2 out of the 4 nights. $70. We were looking forward to a fine Italian meal however the bread served was literally cardboard in texture with no...

We stayed in the row of rooms about 10 m from the Caribbean sea. The room was spacious with 2 beds and mosquito nets. The Italian owners were so friendly and helpful, e.g. they placed comfy chairs for us to watch the sun going down, made us an Espresso at 6 am before departure. The 3 course dinner was delicious...

We spent for nights in a bungalow of "La princesa de la isla" and enjoyed it very much!! The bungalow is located aproximately 10m from the sea, and is appointed with nice furniture and beautiful little details! We really liked the open "walk-in" closet on the way to the bathroom, and the bathroom itself, eventhough the shower was a bit...

Come here for the views. Come here for the FOOD. The meals we had while here were honestly the most enjoyable food experiences I've had, ever. Better than any big name restaurant, better than anything you see on TV, better than anything mom can make (sorry mom). Eat here. Even if you don't stay here. The pride and the attention...

We stayed there for only one night .very friendly and helpful owners from italy. Nice view from the room and not far away from arena beach, where there is a nice beach. Breakfast was really tasty maybe a bit overpriced. We can recommend to stay there.

There is so much good to say about La Princesa! Communication with Constanza for reservations was quick and prompt. She answered all of my questions. Alejandro is the one I had the most interaction with while on site. He is fantastic and will help with everything from getting cabs, tours and other island recommendations. The pavilion where you have breakfast...

We stayed over New Years and had the pleasure of celebrating with the owners, as well as sharing several fantastic dinners at their restaurant. The place definitely has a Robinson Crusoe vibe to it (by way of Italy), but we loved that - everything is clean, rooms are breezy, owners are very hospitable and the whole thing feels like a...

My wife and I stayed there three years ago. I did not write a review. After staying in many out of the way places this is one of the best. The room was rustic. The sheets clean and fresh water for a shower. The owners were very hospitable and great cooks. We ate dinner there half the time and were...

I highly recommend this hotel for total relaxation, delicious home made Italian cuisine, the most wonderful hosting (thank you Constanza, Alessandro and Constanza's papa) and comfortable rooms. As for some of the negative reviews, I have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world (the Tokyo Park Hyatt, the West Hollywood Mondrian and the Danieli) but this is...

“The rooms have names rather than numbers. I had Ceci, while my friend had the room next door, called Cami. The price was so reasonable we decided not to share, which was unnecessary since the rooms were very large with an extra bed in each room. Easily would accommodate 3 people, or a couple with one or two kids. There was also a desk and table with chairs, dressing room space and large bathroom.”
