We arrived at this hotel from the airport in 'Hotel Vans' (which were actually beat up cars with trunks that didn't close properly and inside panels of doors missing) and pulled up to what looked like an abandoned pavilion. We were met by an aggressive angry man who called us 'cheap' and 'demanding'. Despite the fact that we chose this...

Dear Sir, We had the chance to read your message and we thank you for giving us an idea. You used the secondary entrance and the passage in the service area on the back of the hotel (that you defined an abandoned pavilion) because the main entrance is not available due to works on the road. It seems that our...

I wholeheartedly agree with the previous review. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival. The owners are genuinely lovely people. The dinner we had here was excellent, freshly cooked with love and care. The small wine selection is restricted to Italian only and the bottle we selected was not the best, despite it being the most expensive wine...

The restaurant is definitely the highlight of this hotel. The owners are Italian, so of course, it makes sense that the food would be as well. Italian food is not normally my favorite, but even I thought it was great. For dinner, they served a number of courses with the meal and everything was done beautifully. The breakfasts were even...

Our family of 4 (an 11 year old & 13 year old, 2 parents) just returned from several nights at La Princessa. We loved it!! The rooms were cabanas a few yards from the beach. The Italian family that owns the hotel are the nicest people. Alessandro prepared dinners that were as good as some of the finest Italian meals...

Wonderful location by the sea and close to the best beach in the island, Picnic Center, through a very scenic path full of Caribbean flavour. Rooms are comfortable and common areas perfect places to relax, read or sip a glass of wine (or a toña) while looking at the sea. The food is excellent! And the family owning the place...

I can't speak highly enough about the experience my mother and I had staying at this little gem for a week in February 2013. Alessandro and Costanza made staying at La Princesa the highlight of our trip to the Corn Islands. The location they have selected to make their home on Big Corn island is absolutely magnificent and is only...

I won’t, and cannot explain in words the passion and love A & C have put into LP that was felt by our family and other guests. The grounds, are beautiful and rambling - frogs, crabs, turtles [ya gotta have a kid to find the turtles!] and hermit crabs are your neighbors and friends. The “house” where we relaxed, took...

We had the best time spending six nights at princesa de la isla! We felt it was a warm and family like environment with Costanza and Ale always with a smile and always so helpful with everything. The bungalow was clean and it was a great spot to relax and enjoy the calm of big corn island. If i could...

We stayed at La Princesa de la Isla for four nights. It's located on the southern tip of Brig Bay, Waula Point. It's owned by a lovely italian family who make you feel very welcome. They make delicious Italian dinners (breakfast too), so even if you don't stay here definitely book a dinner with them. The accommodations are very rustic...

La Princesa is the most lovely, civilized, romantic spot you can find anywhere. Less than 10 guests. The Italian hospitality and gourmet dinners, wine and camaraderie are unmatched. Two generations who lived their prior lives in Rome own and manage it as their own home. They are so nice. The place is laid-back and beautiful. Walking distance to the best...
