If you do the South Coast Tour- this will be the only hotel near the area. We stayed here for a night on our South Coast tour. The design of the place is very simple. It is a family owned hotel made for just resting. Do not expect a gym, or a pool or even a rooftop bar-this isn't that...

We booked a tour of the south coast of Iceland and we spent one of the nights in this hotel. Classic hotel designed to take in groups. Functional, comfortable, if a bit impersonal. Some of the fitting in the room were loose too. It feels like the hotel needs to step up maintenance a little bit. But nothing major to...

We stayed her as part of a 3 day tour. Initially it looked a little uninspiring and basic. But go through to the back of the hotel and see the amazing views of the mountains and glaciers. The hotel has 2 outdoor wings and the main hotel block. We were given rooms in the rear block. The windows in the...

We stayed here as part of a tour to do some glacier activities. The room was comfortable, the setting beautiful with some trails right behind the hotel. We chose to book our evening meal there, but the tour company hadn't passed on my allergy info, and nothing on t he menu was "okay" for me. They put together something on...

During my recent travels in Iceland, we mostly stayed in Airbnbs. This is the one exception as I wanted us to wake up close to the National Park where we were going hiking on a glacier and also have a short drive to our next destination. I couldn't find an Airbnb in that vicinity. The hotel worked out very well...

Very noisy hotel, full of Chinese people talking day and night, rooms were tiny, we changed room as it was so small, and the food prices were shocking, asking you to book NOW as it's full, rubbish, staff were very cold.

This was our third hotel of our Iceland tour. The lady on reception was friendly and put us in a larger room with a double bed. The room was warm and overlooked the mountains and glaciers. The breakfast was fairly basic with cereal, ham, cheese and bread, with no hot selection available. Overall it was what we needed, but it...

We were a group of friends who stopped on our way to Hofn. We had lunch at the hotel and we had the most delicious lunch. The staff was very friendly and helpful even though we were not staying at the hotel. I highly recommend.

I can not say enough great things about the staff at this hotel. They are amazing! I stayed here while driving the south coast and doing an ice cave tour. It was our friends birthday, we secretly let them know and they brought out a piece of cake with candles lit and sang happy bday to her at dinner. The...

I stay there only for my tour in the glaciers, the staff was very friendly and even spoke in Portuguese with me. The rooms are ok, they were really warm when I arrived, the breakfast is really simple do not expect much. The location is really good for the glaciers and tracking in the park. Also is a nice location...
