I have been in Friisgarden Cafe last April and I have enjoyed a delicious cappuccino with a delicious homemade chocolate cake made by its owner. The cafe is settled in a very, very old log house, perfectly maintained and beautifully decorated. Everything invites to remain, the silence, the decor, the cuisine, the nature...I recommend very much a pause, or more...

They were just serving a Thai curry fish soup (also had a veg version), but it was homemade and delicious. Finished it off with a wonderful apple cake and 2 freshly made lattes. Yumm! The server (owner ?) was cheery and friendly. Nice after a quick hike up the mountain behind the cafe (there is a trail marker to the...

Just spent one night in Friisgarden, a very old building where you could really feel the history in he walls. The surroundings are, as almost everywhere on Lofoten, astounding. We were greeted by Henning who was very nice and kind and made sure our stay became a very pleasant one.

We were only able to stay one night at Friisgarden, but we loved it! Henning was so friendly and warm, and it was a pleasure to be there! We were on a bicycle trip, and this is a great location to take some rides! The historic building is charming and beautiful, and I did bump my head on our low...

We stayed in Friisgarden for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Henning and Lisa we're perfect hosts and made our stay extremely enjoyable. They picked us up from the Hurtigruten ferry and stopped to show us the Northern lights on the way to their B&B. They told us about secret beaches and cooked us really tasty food....

This small, cozy guesthouse is exactly the kind of place you want to stay in Lofoten. The house over 100 years old and beautifully restored in a charmingly rustic fashion. Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, the shared bathrooms are clean. (The only downside to the place is that bathrooms are downstairs- slightly treacherous at night!). The restaurant is delicious and...

This guest house is located near the E10 road at Ramberg. There's a few parking spots outside, and more across the road (outside the local "shopping centre" - a food store, a hardware store and a florist). Even with the road just outside the views are quite beautiful. The house is an old style building with a café/restaurant downstairs (open...

We didn't stay in the Hotel (it looked lovely though) but were camping nearby and happened upon this lovely little cafe. Cool old jazz records were played on an old turntable and we had some amazing homemade cakes with two local beers. They even warmed up our cakes and served them with yummy ice cream for us! The decor was...

I stayed in Friisgården in Ramberg last week. The lady working in this B&B was very friendly. The place was nice and cozy and very welcoming and we really didn't want to leave the place. The rooms are beatifully furnished in old style fashion. The breakfast was the best! I would come back again and stay at this place!
