We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip and it was great. This was the best B&B breakfast we had during our two week trip. Jo made a seemingly endless amount of fantastic pancakes, and there was plenty of good conversation at the table. Jo and Ian were very helpful with navigating local hikes and had plenty of suggestions...

I could write a lot here but everyone has already said it so I'll keep it short. Fantastic hosts - Jo and Ian are incredibly friendly, welcoming and full of amusing little stories and quips. We had a very enjoyable 2 nights here. Comfortable room, great views. Everything you need from a B&B. Ian was very proud to show us...

We stayed for 2 nights and were very happy with everything at Harpers. Jo and Ian are warm, welcoming hosts and the house is set in the loveliest gardens which they have created over the last 20 years. Our room and private balcony as well as the guest lounge had fabulous views over the lake and mountains and the breakfasts...

We stayed two nights with Jo and Ian, who made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, plying us with tea and warm muffins. Staying with them sort of feels like visiting your dear grandparents and you will probably wish they were your grandparents! They will chat with you and feed you and invite you to watch TV with...

We were so pleased that we had chosen to stay at Harpers B&B in Wanaka. We were traveling from Te Anau to Wanaka and arrived late in the day. Jo and Ian immediately made us feel at home and we enjoyed tea and fresh muffins! All of this in our own sitting area with an incredible view of the lake...

Jo and Ian papered us from the moment we arrived!! As others have mentioned they go out of their way to make sure your stay is wonderful. The room was great and the adjacent lounge was a nice place to curl up and read or enjoy the view. The welcome snack and the huge breakfast is homemade and delicious. It...

Jo and Ian were a delight to stay with and, like some other reviewers, our only negative was that we only stayed one night; it is a lovely area and would have justified a longer stay. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely at home and Jo was happy to recommend - and book - a...

What a lovely couple Jo and Ian are. We only booked one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Like many people we were trying to see all of New Zealand in a holiday that should have been twice as long. Lovely views from the property and a 20 minute stroll got us to the centre of Wanaka. (We...

We stayed one night at Harpers. We were greeted with hot drinks and muffins by Jo. The view from the lounge are stunning and we sat looking out and relaxing after our journey. Nothing was too much trouble and when we wanted to know about eating out Jo phoned a restaurant and made a reservation for us. Breakfast was very...

Sadly we only allowed 1 night stay at the delightful Harpers b&b. Jo made us so welcome on our arrival and after being shown our room we were converted.
