Tiritiri Lodge was advertised as a luxury property and this was what we expected. This holiday was a special treat and we wanted accommodation to suit the occasion. Unfortunately, nothing here is luxurious. Best and worst about the accommodation. Best: Great views from the upstairs bedroom. Comfortable king bed. Spacious house. Quiet location. Worst: The owners' house looks into your...

Don't believe everything you see on the web. We love Wanaka and have always very much enjoyed the Wharekea which we believe was one of the truly best lodges in the whole country. When they stopped accepting individuals (you need to book the whole lodge) we scrambled to find another great place. Google led us to Tiritiri. It bills itself...

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding about the nature of the property as we have not operated as a luxury lodge for several years after my partner broke his neck skiing. The Courtyard House is now operating as a short term self catering holiday rental. Daily cleaning is not provided. We sincerely regret that your expectations...

This is the most amazing place we stayed at during our stay in in New Zealand. We stayed here prior to our small wedding and it was the best decision ever!Tiritiri Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the most relaxing place we've ever been! We had long sleep and relaxing afternoon just hanging out in this spacious and comfortable lodge. In...

Tiritiri lodge is a magical spot with an excellent level of service amazing food and fantastic location. Steph and Denis go all out to make your stay as good as it can could be. The spa is especially good after a hard day at the mountains.

This is a charming property with owners with interesting and sophisticated tastes and backgrounds. Conversation is easy, hosts are friendly, and food is divine. Their daughter is the resident chef and prepares exquisite evening meals and breakfasts. They ask if you have any food sensitivities or adversities, which is very nice. The rooms were nice and well appointed. More than...

This Lodge has it all. Friendly people, outstanding food ( actually better than outstanding), comfortable beds, great location, fabulous views. The spaces for guests are large, tasteful and thoughtful. The lodge was designed for beauty and comfort. Stefanie and Denis are generous with everything, truly gifted in hospitality. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

This is the kind of place you'd like to live in. It is a fairly intimate experience - if you like to be completely independent it isn't for you. But the hosts are friendly but not overbearing - in short, they get it right. Very stylish accommodations: modern, spotless and comfortable. Drinks and canapes and breakfast included; dinner is extra....

Lovely modern lodge located out in the residential area of Wanaka. Stephanie and Denis the owners welcomed us warmly and greeted us with cake, wine and beer. We also had the dinner which was excellently prepared and cooked by Tiff. Rooms had fantastic views and beds where lovely and comfortable. Would highly recommend, especially having the dinner with matching NZ...

Tiritiri Lodge is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Dennis, Steph and Tiff are wonderful hosts and I received a very warm welcome accompanied by a lovely cold beer and cake! The Lodge has been stunningly and thoughtfully designed and my room had the most extraordinary view across Wanaka lake. Tiff is a great cook, so opt for...

Tiritiri Lodge is a beautiful and warm place, and is the most wonderful lodge we've ever stayed. We were appreciated with the warm welcoming of Stephanie, Denis and lovely Frankie, and surprised by Tiffany's food which was really amazing. The room was comfortable and had very beautiful views. We should stay more days next time.
