The reserve is lovely., well worth the drive from Joburg. We spent the weekend mountain biking and reading. It is beautifully quiet, just what it promises to be. Accommodation is very comfortable. The units are set well apart so you might have a sense of other people but it is not at all intrusive. We didn't take the kids but...

We visited with our 16 month old and much loved dog. We stayed in Zebra cottage. It's a nice, clean, spacious cottage which is well equipped. Comfortable beds and sheets. We loved the braai area and it was safe for our daughter to play outside under supervision. We liked Zebra due to its close proximity to the wonderful swimming pool....

My Family and I went to Izintaba Private Game Reserve, 2 - 4 September 2016. We stayed in the Duiker cottage, the peace and silence of the bush was magical. My two boys, aged 6 and 1 were in their element, running around and exploring the rocks and bush while my wife and I sat on the porch and relaxed...

Our favourite bush break get-away-from-it-all. We stayed at Duiker cottage and loved the quiet and lovely views. We were spoiled by visits from the giraffe family and kudu at our cottage. We even saw the very shy aardvark and baby Eland fiercely protected by their herd. Highly recommended!

3adults, 1 betweenager and 2 littles ..... We all loved this beautiful spot, the ability to walk or drive yourself was brilliant, or having Andrew drive, a bonus(interesting info). Lovely accommodation, could do with sunloungers at the cottages for mummies that love a "siesta". Want to return soon. Thank you Nicky and Andrew.

We have just returned home from spending 3 nights in Duiker cottage. The photo's do not do justice to the cottage and its facilities. It is only powered by solar and gas, but I did not even notice that there was no electricity as the gas stove is excellent. Being winter, we loved sitting in front of the roaring log...

This will be a holiday which we will never forget!! We stayed in Izintaba Lodge, which were ideal for our family and friends! This place is like having your own little resort. I will definitely go back if possible. We even took a video of the lodge inside as it is so huge, photos won't do it justice! Superb CLEANING...

Located in the middle of the Waterberg, this beautiful farm offers everything from stunning vistas, amazing wildlife, beautiful accommodation and wonderful hosts! Nikki and Andrew went above-and-beyond to ensure we had the perfect day! Organising a wedding in South Africa from the Netherlands can be particularly challenging, however, Nikki and Andrew were really helpful with all the preparation. They were...

We stayed for 2 nights at Duiker cottage, which is beautifully positioned in the bush, away from it all. Amenities all excellent, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Our family from London loved the peace and quiet. This cottage would be even better with its own plunge pool. We will definitely return again.

Our second visit. Last time was pure romance and Duiker was perfect. Secluded and luxury self catering (but not over the top opulent). Beautiful settings for today's ultimate pleasures- time and silence. Second visit was family at Zebra and friends at Giraffe. So pretty good sense of the great facilties geared for all types of visits. To enjoy you must...

“Kudu cottage has its own pool, which is a plus point in summer! Duiker has solar power and a gas stove, but the stove an excellent one. Solar power means no hairdryers or microwave. But, if you need peace and quiet and total resting bliss, Duiker is the answer.”
