The hotel is very well situated at the Indian Oceancoast. From our room we had a very beautiful view over the blue ocean. The staff is friendly. Breakfast and diner was very good and surprising. You could make a good choice of different courses and menus.

Our stay at the Zanzibari hotel was wonderful! Delicious food and drinks at the restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice pool and a private beach close to the room. The room was very cozy and had a nice balcony facing the ocean. The room was also very tidy and spacious. The only negative to say was... More

Have you ever imagined yourself on a white sandy beach overlooking a turquoise (and warm!) ocean? If so, dream no more. This is real and absolutely heavenly. The hotel is in a lovely setting with the Indian Ocean on the doorstep. The hotel itself was a great place to stay and we had great views from our room. The staff... More

The Zanzibari was the second hotel we stayed at in Zanzibar. Visiting in early October is great (I mean if you don't like crowded places) as we were very few people there. The staff (and that's including everyone from the manager to the cleaning lady) is truly nice, carrying for your comfort, and prepare some lovely surprises. Nungwi's visit is... More

We went to the Zanzibari this summer for a week. I found the place charming, quiet, a few rooms only, we felt like we were at home without having to cook and all :). The staff are welcoming, friendly, generous, cheerful, caring and so much more. I cannot recall any other place where the staff were so attentive to our... More

The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. They also were great about helping us find some souvenirs that were a bit more bespoke than the items seen in all the other tour shops. They really went above and beyond in this regard. The hotel grounds were very nice and you can tell they take pride in... More

This hotel was just what we wanted. Complete peace & quiet away from the main town area. The room was a lovely sea view room with picturesque balcony. The bed was very comfortable & the staff made it so special by dressing our bed with petals & towel art. Aircon kept the room a perfect temperature. The only slight downside... More

We recently spent four nights here as an end to a Safari. Paul and his staff do a wonderful job of making you feel welcome. The rooms are spacious, we had a balcony over looking the sea. Everyday our bed was adorned with flowers and towel art. The food is delicious, and the peace and calm of the hotel was wonderful.... More
