For its architecture, the confortable rooms, the excelent restaurant, the fantastic beach and for the very kind and competent personel, this hotel really deserves 5 stars in full. If we want to find something negative, then we have to point out the lying beds on the beach and by the swimming pool: elegants but very heavy!

We really loved the beach, the environment, the weather and even the food but we couldn't help but feel olé outsiders during our stay. The resort is clearly set up for Italian tour groups who get preferential treatment, organised events, and likely better prices. Whilst we loved being on the beach and walking on the promenade we were consistently confused...

The good = nice hotel, grounds lovely, beach gorgeous, lovely maid (Boopee), adequate rooms. The bad = after booking this hotel online I emailed them to advise I wanted a twin room as I was travelling with a friend. I also enquired about airport transfers. After no response I emailed again. Again no reply, so I ended up booking transfers...

Everything was just perfect. The hotel is beautiful and kept in a super clean state. The hotel staff (local and animation) is extremely friendly and always prompt in helping you with anything. The hotel doctor was on point. The beach is beautiful and you will have no trouble in relaxing from the moment you arrive. The food is very good...

I couldn't tell if i was more impressed by the place or by the service but for sure everything was perfect; from the beach and its amazing colours, from the lady or gentleman who made our bed every single evening before going to sleep(thank you for making me feel like a princess); from the forever smiling staff(henry we all love...

The superior rooms were excellent, beautiful beach with a private jetty, the restaurant serving both Italian and African food with special attention from the Chef, incase you wanted something else..he would whip up...

I can't recommend the Dongwe Club enough. The value for the product was exceptional - though I think we were given a special rate. We received VIP attention from Giorgio the manager and Salvatore the Chef. The Club is expansive on a private white sandy beach. It is additionally unique because of a private Jetty with restaurants at the end...

We landed up at Dongwe Vacanze Club by default. We hired a car and decided to "walk in" our way around the island. On the east coast mid Dec is apparently a quiet time so so many of the lodges were empty and felt deserted. Also, the quality vs price was ridiculous. Perhaps because this was essentially peak season. Anyhow,...

We stayed at Dongwe club for 8 days and everything was fantastic. The service is excellent, the staff speaks English and Italian very well. The beach is beautiful and there is a very nice jetty, with sun beds, a bar and a restaurant at night. My children enjoyed swimming in the pool and walking on the reef at low tide. The...

This club vacanze hotel is as luxurious and comfortable as one can imagine. It sits on a perfect dream-like beach, in a slightly more isolated area than the rather busy Kiwengwa or Nungwi. There is not much to say about the facilities, which were close to perfection, from the swimming pool to the tennis courts and the restaurants. As a...
