At times I imagined that a jeanie had blinked me to this place.....a magical ancient Islamic world full of indulgence. It's a welcome respite after a long safari. The food is outstanding quality....you can enjoy fine dining here. The rooms are very comfortable as are the beds. Great service. It was very hot and humid in December ....which meant you...

Upon arrival to the resort, we were stunned by the hotel and exquisite, yet simple decoration, which transported us into this unique corner of the world and all the diverse influences which have left their mark. The grounds are immaculately maintained and the food was unforgettable. Our off-beach villa came with a private pool and lounge areas which were very...

Outstanding holidays at Baraza The food is amazing, the hotel with all his small decoration and perfection in every small corner is teriffic. No more words to say - its exactly ,actually even better as shown on the pictures in the catalog. But its not just that. The staff is the most important thing there, which made our honeymoon unforgettable...

Baraza is at the same great level as The Palms, but is a bigger resort, with 30 private villas. So if you would like to have more peoble around, these is the resort you should choose. Offers great personal service´s and the feeling to be selected as well.

After being around the world traveling for business and pleasure for the last 20 years, I can assure that this place is THE BEST. The food, the staff and the location are wonderful. Horrible service. No service provided at Reception, on the beach or on the pool. They have specific time on the day for serving food, and dinner closes at 9:30pm. It's boarding school all over again. Worst place to visit for a holiday. A Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Spacious villa with a plunge pool and direct access to the beach. The bathrooms are as big as the bedroom/living space. The luxurious Swahili style is gorgeous if a little monotonous in colour. The food is great, but the all-inclusive package leaves little room for individual taste, but the free cocktails made up for this. Mojito heaven for sure! However,...

We split our time in Zanzibar between The Palms and Baraza for our honeymoon and really enjoyed our time at both.
