This was the first place we went to after stone town and we loved it! We felt more than welcome! Food is really good there and the stuff is so friendly and always helpful with everything! The bathrooms were always clean - same as everything else! Just a short walk to the beach. I can just reccomend this place!

The place is so cool, composed by wooden bungalows surronded by sand, trees and nature. Swimming-pool, hammocks and a cool bar, great parties with amazing African music on Thursday evenings. The staff is nice and the food, drinks and rooms prices are medium. Nice breakfast.

As soon as you enter Demani you're feeling the relaxing vibe! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice and clean! They have several hammocks to relax in and an amazing swimming pool! The garden is beautiful with all the flowers and the breakfast is good.

We have planned a trip to Zanzibar and as everything was fully booked thru NYE 2016, we decided to stay in a shared dorm in Demani Lodge. It was truly a great decision! We have met so many young people travelling, enjoyed delicious breakfasts served by the very helpful staff and in the evenings, enjoyed local food specialties. We absolutely...

The hotel was really nice! There's a pool that's kept really clean, the restaurant is good, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The beach is close by and everything is accessible! The staff is great too. I got sick during the trip and the owners and staff helped call the doctor and eventually a cab to get me to...

I had a great experience at the Demani Lodge although I am not very comfortable with foam mattresses. I was a bit disappointed at the beginning because it´s a bit far from the beach but the place and the staff compensate it all. They have a nice barbecue party on Thursdays for 20$ excluding drinks. You can eat as much...

Stayed here a few nights with a friend in the 3 bed room. Lovely facilities, nice owner And they take credit card! Food and drinks were good, pool was great. A bit further down the beach- 20ish minute walk to the main area and also it directly on the beach- across the street. I would stay there again.

The big selling point is the pool. The food was good.. But the rooms were not great compared to similarly priced places from Stone Town to Kiwengwa. The mosquito nets are small, the beds are tiny with cheap foam matresses. Demani was the only place where I had to pay a deposit for a towel, and for keys.

Friendly staff, beautifully kept pool and chill area, reasonable prices. We got here for $30 from Stone Town. The pool was a welcome site after a hot day. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable, laidback anf friendly environment.

We were two friends who stayed at demani for a week and we really enjoyed it. The place had a great setting and was very social. It had a great bar/restaurant with very nice food. We had a cheap room which was fine, we were only in it to sleep. It is 20 minutes walk to paje but the pool...
