My wife and I were driving from Hua Hin to Krabi and needed somewhere to stay halfway through the drive. The hotel itself is fine, but the beds were extremely firm. If you like sleeping on a cement floor, this place is for you.

Close to town, each villa is uniquely styled. Beautiful gardens, pool in peaceful area but just off the main road on the edge of town. Have stayed several times, always good and the staff are always pleasant.

... for an overnight stay if you need it. Spent a night there to take the early ferry in the morning. You will be at a pretty nice bungalow village with big rooms and a big bathroom. Chumphon for itself isn't exactly an attraction so that explains the cheap price for the rooms. Great value for money obviously but I...

Tanisa Resort was a fantastic find! Reception was prompt and friendly even though they hadn’t received the booking from Expedia (we did only book that morning but it should have gone through in under an hour). We travelled as three adults so booked two pool view rooms and were pleased to have them located side by side with parking right...

"Resort" good, clean rooms - albeit the shower was temperamental with the hot & cold! restaurant food was ok! Most interesting thing for me was t memorabilia, in the restaurant, from Coca Cola etc from 50 years or so ago - unexpected so far from anywhere!!

The hotel is really good for the price and we had no problems. Everything worked and the staff was friendly and helped us with the boat to koh tao. But the restaurant is very disappointing. We went there for dinner and ordered the 'stir fried chicken with basil leafs' and asked if we can have it not spicy. The answer...

Stayed here just one night before catching the ferry the next day. The hotel staff were very helpful over email and arranged a transfer from the airport and our ferry+transfer ticket for the next day, all at the prices we had found quoted online. Our room was more like a bungalow, it was spacious and the bathroom was huge. Unfortunately...

We stopped at Tanisa on our way to Phuket last week. The hotel is very nice and clean, not too far from center town if you fancy streetfood. We had a room near the swimming pool and a suite about 25 m away from the pool. I have to say that the cheap was as good as the suite :)...
