This hotel has tranquility, fresh air, peacefully located in the woods. You will need a car to access to this hotel. Nearby town with nice restaurants and warm helpful people to get around in language even reading food menu are all in French. But will need to make advance bookings for some restaurants as they do not cater to walk...

Very nice location and chateau, but unfriendly staff, overpriced dinner and breakfast and very small room for the price. Outside the chateau I missed some ambiance. Rooms are very clean and nice, the chateau is well maintained.

Breakfasts were poor, diner no better, our room was small without much of a view. There is no real place for a group of friends to "hang out' either - no common rooms. Disappointing. Beautiful outside, nd the staircase of the main building was very cool.

“The rooms are located in two different locations: castle versus remodeled barns. The rooms in the barn are very clean, charming and quiet.”

“The cottages are excellent for location and seclusion. However, the walls are rather thin, and the rooms rather small with not much cabinet space. One misses tea/coffee making facilities given the distance from the dining room. If you need these facilities (or if you are above five feet) opt for the rooms in the main building.”

“The WiFi is spotty at best on the upper floor so opt for the lower floor if you need that.”
