During our travels through Provence we stayed in this charming provencal hotel. When we entered the lobby of the hotel we were greeted by the manager with a choice of a glass of wine, bubbles or water. Very nice touch! The lady owner of the hotel was there as well and she is very charming. We were shown a choice...

I am really surprised by the low scores for this place. I stayed for 2 nights as part of a hiking trip in the Luberon Valley, and I really enjoyed it. The rooms do need some updating/ refurbishment, but jeez this is rural Provence, not Paris! People need to adjust their expectations. My room was very large by European standards,...

I phoned them at the last minute and 10 mins later we were in a beautiful room (elegant simplicity) overlooking the luberon hills. All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Dinner took the experience up another notch, regional specialities that were perfectly prepared and presented. The hotel is beautiful, stone floors and thick stone vaulted rooms. Only problem was...

We did not stay in this hotel but booked in for lunch on the last day of our holiday in Provence. We had lunch i n the restaurant which was excellent and good value, and we then were able to use the hotel pool for the rest of the afternoon. The staff could not have been more helpful - polite,...

Varning, this hotel is in really bad shape, needs new management and refurbisment. Almost everything is broken and the worst thing is that they are selling rooms with AC. Most of the rooms dont have AC, it has been broken for many years, see other rerwievs. We checked out 1 hour after checking in, they didn´t even tried to fix...

The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. The hotel, built around an inner walled provençal garden has a pool for guests. There was an overall feeling of calm and relaxed atmosphere. Le Roy Soleil is situated in a quiet area, among the fields and vineyards Breakfast was a bit of a hit and miss. On Sunday service...

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and we had a horrible experience. The hotel is dirty, the rooms smells mold, the shower doesn´t have a place to be fixed and the main staff is absolutely rude. On the 1st night, although we have told the hotel that we would arrive late, they simply didn´t wait for us. When...

Stayed for two nights. Booking in straightforward our room was located on the first floor in an another building above the restaurant; no lift but staff kindly assisted to bring our luggage to the room. Room quite rustic and roomy, tiled floor, four poster bed, good views of the garden and swimming pool. The room did smell quite musty on...

This is an attractive property situated in the midst of vineyards outside of Menerbes. I stayed there as part of a bike tour, so can't comment on the pricing/value as that was handled by my tour company. My room was attractive (though the decor was a little garish for my taste) and had a nice patio (though I had issues...
