My husband and I were still haggling over where to stay in Provence when we arrived at Marseilles airport. We still hadn't found a place that met his standards. He was driving me crazy, insisting on a private apartment or house in an idyllic setting. I had spent HOURS on Airbnb, VRBO and Trip Advisor. WAY too many choices, and...

We stayed for five nights at this stunning Mas in Provence. Our advice would be to always book one more night than you think you want as it will be very difficult to leave this wonderful hotel. The Mas is spotless with beautiful rooms and lovely pool and gardens. Dining is a real pleasure on their terrace at breakfast, lunch...

If I were able to award Michelin stars I would give one to Thierry. The food at this hotel is wonderful...tasty and beautifully presented. The staff are efficient and pleasant. The owners, Nina and Thierry, give personal service and nothing seems too much trouble for them. This pretty hotel is set in the lovely countryside of Provence and has been...

I was very surprised, I got there without a notice, there was a one room available and I got it at a reasonable price. The hotel is clean, a lot of parking, the room was comfortable and the people are very hospitable (They also speak English). In the morning we have got a nice breakfast that was included.

Le Mas de Grès was a beautiful surprise for us as we ended up looking for a place to stay on a Saturday at 7pm in the middle of August with an exhausted young toddler. Nina the host immediately understood the situation and her warm welcome instantly made us feel better. Her place is like her and her husband Thierry...

thank you very much for your message on tripadvisor. We understand that you were exhausted and are very sorry that we could not accommodate you last saturday night. your comment read by millions is very useful for us, as it shows that the mistake was in fact done by hotels.com. They did not book the room online, but discussed rates...

3d visit over a long period and never been disappointed. The dinners outside are fabulous and breakfast is also a treat. The pool is a very welcome amenity. Lot's of things to do and see in the surroundings. Hope to be a guest here soon again.

It was the first time we had stayed at this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and everyone was very friendly. We had a lovely dinner outside and the wines were sensibly priced. Breakfast was very good. I'm gluten free which was no problem here. There's good parking (which I think is locked at night) and a very nice swimming pool.

This lovely "mas" (a renovated country farm) is situated only a few kilometers from the charming town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Nina is a gracious and accommodating hostess and Thierry provided one of the best meals I've had in France (and that's saying a lot!). I plan to return to this area often and Le Mas des Gres will...
