We landed on Crete late because the ferry was delayed. This is the only port that didn't have car rental places and hotel agencies trying to sell rooms to those who arrived. We were stuck because we didn't realize how big Crete is and had not pre-rented a car. A lovely taxi driver named Michael took us to a car...
