I traveled with my cousins, and we were a group of five. Initially, we wanted a self catering hotel because they were cheaper, but as it was our first girls holiday, we were a little apprehensive about self catering as there was a potential risk of running out of money, leading to starvation. We had seen pictures of the hotel...

After reading the mixed reviews for the Phaedra Beach we decided last October to take a chance and booked a 14 night holiday for May 2014, after all some people appeared to have had an enjoyable stay and the location looked pretty good. When we arrived after a delayed flight our coach transfer pulled up at 1.30am to a closed...

Phaedra Beach Hotel is the perfect place for people who want to have some quiet moments, ‘away from the madding crowd’, on an absolutely exquisite sandy beach. My husband and I spent 1 week in the Phaedra last September and we got home so relaxed that we have decided to repeat the experience this autumn too. Located outside Malia –...

The room was like a cardboard box, paying for air conditioning is something iv never done. The all inclusive stops at 11, but they open the cocktail bar at 10pm(which is not free even though it is in the allocated all inclusive time limit. there is no all day snack bar, the breakfast was awful, and the location is miles...

We were in a garden room old Crete style I loved it, ground floor big terrace. The grounds were tidy and hotel clean, we did have stormy weather at the start but finally after...

Me and my girlfriend and family went last week just got back today and I have to say don't worry about the previous reviews. This hotel is in a spot on location on the beach and the rooms (new block) had a sea view and were a very large size for two with a sea view! The staff were fantastic...

I came on here before I visited this hotel and went with an open mind! All the reviews I have read, are absolute rubbish! The hotel is an absolute credit to Crete! The staff, rooms, food, bar were all absolutely fantastic! The only thing that may raise a few eye brows was the all inclusive bar closing at 10pm? A...

I went on holiday with my sister for a week in May. I must say, i don't complain about much and I am not a fussy person but the entire holiday was filled with stressful anxious memories being in the hotel. The food was bad and was the same every single day. The staff are very rude. My sister lost...

“If you are not party guys and prefer going to bed early in the evening avoid rooms in the bungalows or on the sea-view side of the hotel – too noisy because of the night programme. On the other hand, however quiet the new buildings might be, they lack any view.”
