The property has an amazing terrace with a lake view. Perfect for a coffee in the morning or an evening drink watching the sun set. Location is nice in the heart of old town Anguillara. The proprietor is super responsive and helpful. No onsite parking. The rooms are basic, yet functional and clean. Breakfast adequate. Good value for money.

We really did enjoy staying in this B&B - it's a great accommodation with Paola as a very lovely host. We stayed here for two nights as a couple with a 8 weeks old baby. Everything was very nice! Our room was not super huge but enough for us three. Parking might be a bit Italian style but if you...

Thank you Paola! Very friendly, personal and helpful B&B. We stayed three nights, the room was lovely, breakfast varied with home made pain aux chocolate etc; very sunny terrace with great views. The town is a gem, very quaint old village, with some lovely restaurants, our fav probably La Nepitella. If you want near perfect tranquility, Lake Martignano is nearby,...

I returned here again this year with my wife and another couple looking forward to chilling out in the charming village of Anguillara Sabazia.........none if us were djsappointed. The B&B has been improved since our last visit with the addition of another en-suite bathroom and new tiling on the stunning roof-top terrace. The rooms are spotlessly clean as always and...

I have stayed here on two occasions this year with my wife, both trips were for four days the first in May and the second at the end of June. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the bathroom that is shared between two of the rooms is large and the living room very homely. The roof terrace us awesome...

We stayed here for one night (23rd July 2014) to break our journey from Tuscany to Naples and extremely pleased we chose La Dimora di Checchino. It is a very small B&B in the old walled area of Anguillara up a narrow side street opposite the 'Il Vicolo del Gusto' restaurant. There is free parking at the top of the...

Stayed in self catering apartment. Wonderful holiday. Bedroom overlooked a lime tree. Very clean. Apartment had oven, gas hob, fridge and small freezer, hair dryer and towels were provided. Enjoyed hour and half boat trip (from pier) around the lake for 5 euros. Enjoyed cappuccino and gelato at Bar del Molo. Pizza at Pizzeria de brontolo is worth a visit...

Fantastic location with an amazing view of the lake from the roof terrace. We originally wanted to stay in the centre of Rome for our weekend break but we are glad we found this place since Rome isn't too far away and we managed 2 full days out in Rome. Never got bored of this place, it is beautiful! Hospitality...

The location is beautiful. The rooms are clean and decorated very well. The owner was very accomodating and even let us eat breakfast very early before we left for the airport. The price is reasonable. I still visit the terrace every night in my dreams. Quintessential Italia! Grazie mille...Ci vediamo dopo

This B&B has a great location in the old section of the town. The rooms are quite comfortable and spacious. The shared bath was no problem. Best of all is the view over the lake from the roof-top terrace. The only down side to this accommodation is that the breakfast was lousy! Soggy store-bought packaged rolls, instant coffee (this it...
