Booked it for a short visit to Gallipoli and am sure it's the best place to stay in town. Room is good , bed ok but the setting is superb ! We booked a room with terrace which i would advice. Location is ideal to explore the old town. Staff is super good so all together had a real nice...

In the heart of the old city. Authentic rooms with excellent beds and bathroom Breakfast is served on the rooftop, which is a perfect way to start the day. No real fruit juice, but a nice choice of local products. Extremely helpful staff. Great place at Gallipoli !

The staff, location, large rooms and divine breakfast all made for a lovely stay in Gallipoli. Even before we arrived the staff were helpful, providing clear directions to drive to and park our vehicle in a restricted local only zone. During our stay they went above and beyond to book boat trips down the coast, recommend “local” restaurants, and arrange...

The hotel has cosy well designed rooms to offer, not very big though but it doesn't matter as me and my bf just slept there and had breakfasts. The air conditioner was functioning really good keeping our room always cool in such a heat. Reception staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. The only thing I would improve is the...

I found it extremely frustrating staying at the hotel- not only was the majority of our trip fussed around parking and the hell of the driving in this town- but the traffic gridlock to go anywhere completely stifled every day's activities. And there's no where to go as everywhere is crawling with over crowded people. The beaches here are not...

Dear Jeni 426, we are very sorry for your frustrating experience, but we cannot feel responsible for the increasing tourism of Gallipoli and all its effects during the peak season. It is hard to imagine Gallipoli as a romantic get away in the central weeks of August, when a lot of people coming not only from Italy, but also from...

Gallipoli was really fantastic. The hotel has a nice situation if you like to live in the old part of Gallipoli. We stayed in a deluxe-room which meant we had a gigantic terrace by our own. The room itself wasn't that exclusive, but it fitted in well with the atmosphere and the feeling of the hotel. The staff was extremely...

From we arrived until we left: A very good experience. The hotel is situated in the old town and everything from the reception / transport of luggage / the interiors / the room / the A/C was just perfect. The breakfast on the roofterrace was a good start on the day. The shuttle service to the beach very good, so...

The Relais Corte Palmieri is a real jewel in the heart of old Gallipoli. We loved our stay and would thoroughly recommend it. However, my first impressions of the town were not so favourable. The newer part of town doesn't have the charm of the historic quarter, which sits on an island linked by a short bridge. Because the old...

Recently stayed for three nights in the Palmieri and was blown away by the service from the moment we checked in. Nicolette talked us informatively through the local area and asked what we were looking for before advising accordingly. The Palmieri is a quirky collection of 20 well appointed rooms amalgamated into one hotel complex. There are also countless relaxation...

Centrally located on Island, this hotel was clean, quiet and friendly, serving a good breakfast. The room we had was large and the mattress extra comfortable. Despite Hotels.com messing up the reservation and costing us more we highly recommend this lovely hotel and personable staff.

Relais Corte Palmieri is a wonderful historical house dating back to 1700 situated in the dense maze of alleys, streets and squares of the famous fishing village of Gallipoli. Characterized by sunny terraces and walls covered by colorful bougainvillea, this beautiful unique building, evocates a Moroccan Riad. Prickly pear, Jupiter's beard and citrus trees paint the terraces in the warmer months, where every morning a good morning is given with a buffet breakfast characterized by a wide range of products. Near the picturesque beach of La Purità nd many churches of the old town, Relais Corte Palmieri offers the possibility to enjoy the city center discovering every day a place where you can taste the typical Salento cuisine or drink an aperitif. Ideal place to enjoy the comfort of a beach holiday, the Relais is close to historical sites, cultural places and wonderful landscapes like Lecce, Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca. The Relais has many agreements with the most beautiful beaches of Gallipoli such as Samsara, Bikini and Sottovento, a wide range of choise, from the most fashionable to the most exclusive beach.
