Casa Talia is a collection of restored cottages on one of the slopes of Monica. It is not a hotel, and those expecting a treatment akin to the Four Seasons should not stay here. The property offers individually appointed rooms, spacious bathrooms, and all necessities are provided. An outstanding breakfast is served in one of the cottages. The gardens are...

This is such a lovely property set in the stunning surroundings of Modica overlooking the Cathedral. It is a bit of a walk down to the town and then up again, but it goes with the territory. We loved our evening wanders through the old windy streets. Breakfast was delightful, on a lush garden terrace overlooking the town. We stayed...

We stayed here following a recommendation in The Daily Telegraph Travel Guide and were not disappointed. Yes, it's down a narrow road so you have to park in the parking area then take your luggage up to the B&B but the owners are happy to help. They are in the process of renovating more ancient stone houses built into the...

I read the mixed reviews about this place and decided to give it a go. It was quite hard to find, and there was a bit of a treck with the luggage to get to the place after parking the car not he street. Some might find the location and disposition of the hotel to be romantic. I did not....

Excellent hotel above Modica with excellent views. Staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast good and everything fresh and home made. Choose a room with a view at front of hotel. Restaurants in Modica plentiful and good.

Its a bit of a strange one to review. Its hardly an hotel. You get a room in what appears to be a collection of buildings perched on a cliffside. It is a tricky place to find & then you have to park some distance away. Saying that we had a good if basic room & a terrace with views...

Casa Talia is an amazing and tasteful boutique hotel. It is quiet, tasteful, original, with a superb design, an amazing view on fantastic Modica and the best breakfast of all… ask for the figs with mozzarella, prosciutto di parma and balsamic vinegar… and don’t miss the amazing home-made fresh fruit juices in the morning. The host, Marco, is very nice...

I visited Modica in June 2104 with my friend, I chose Casa Talia because I wanted to stay in a particular hotel boutique and I reached my goal. Very lovely and good located place... In front of you a fantastic panorama: the old city with the Cathedral... Amazing view! I appreciated even the room and the garden... A place to...

We stayed here for two nights and had a very nice and spacious suite. We had a bit of an issue with a power failure and the electronic key card for our room but apart from that we found the staff very helpful. Don't expect the usual sicilian welcome and advice from the hotel owners, we didn't see them during...

We definitely should've checked TA before booking but, if you're like us you somehow discovered this place and as it sounds charming you want to stay here regardless of other people's experiences. The best advice I can give is unless you are 100% self sufficient, don't stay here. We booked by phone the day before arriving, Marco was not charming...
