We spent a week at the castello Di pastine in apt 6f as a family of 6 and loved it. The apartment is located a little away from the main complex but that provides privacy which worked well for us. The apartment was well equipped with a BBQ. Wifi was brilliant throughout the whole complex ( not important for us,...

We spent two weeks in Pastine in August 2016. We had an amazing time. It's a very good value property - comfortable accommodation and amazing grounds. The pool is stunning (18m x 9m) and kept the kids amused. The views are breathtaking. We had a fortnight of 35 degree sunshine - perfect relaxation. We even made our own pizzas and...

Traveling with kids of age 8-14, Guido's pool is the unique selling point of Castello di Pastine. Not only its size, but also the space around it gives one a feeling of luxury. Shaded sitting areas around the pool are placed around 5 meters from the pool. Close enough for parents to see their kids have fun, and far enough...

Pastine is a nice place to be in Tuscany. The rooms are comfortable and the view on S. Gimignano is overwhelming. We did shoot hundreds of photos of the sunset from our terrace. During the day the kids and parents spent hours in the pool and in the evening we enjoyed the BBQ area or visited some nice restaurants.

There is no doubt that Castello di Pastine is truly a magical destination. This amazing country house sits on a hill from which you can enjoy splendid views over the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The location itself is tranquil but with in easy reach of Florence, Siena and the many lovely towns and vineyards of the Chianti region. We stayed in...

One of Tuscany's best kept secrets. Close to magical Barberino and half way between two ancient cultural centres. Firenza and Siena. Host Guido is a great guy and very welcoming. The finest pool I have ever encountered on the road.

A wonderful location on top of a hill in Tuscany equidistant from Florence and Siena. A super wee Coop in Barberino Val D' Elsa, 3 miles away and fabulous wine shops in San Gimignano 40 minutes across the valley. Sheer bliss. Self catering at its best, sitting with a Prosecco watching the sun set over the distant hills at Pisa.

As well as being in an ideal location to explore both the rural Tuscan countryside and historical towns and villages, everything about Castello di Pastine is ideal. A great range of options for families, and the swimming pool is great.

Our family of four had a delightful time here; all the facilities are perfectly judged to our needs and the staff were very helpful. There were other families who had been several times and you could see why.
