Spent 3 nights here - it was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The views and walk around the property and through the vineyards (was that allowed?) are breathtaking. The staff is professional, friendly and accommodating to all desires. We had dinner on site 2 of the 3 nights - it was delicious. Bolognese! Get spoiled with the breakfast spread...Make reservations ahead...

This was my husband's and my fourth visit over the last 12 years to this beautiful hotel. Each time I arrive, I am overwhelmed by the the grounds and the views of Tuscany. There is such a sense of serenity, from the small church at the entrance, and as you look out at the vineyards and olive groves. Our breakfast...

Beautiful location and spacious rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable, the spa does need some care. The jacuzzi was not very hot, and the indoor pool was not as warm as advertised. The relaxing room was wonderful, the steam and dry rooms were perfect though. The breakfast spread was as good as you will find in Italy....

We stayed at the Castello as part of a 7 day self-guided walking tour through Tuscany. We were absolutely delighted & surprised on arrival as the hotel was well above the 3 star accommodation we'd been used to. And it somehow made it all the more delicious given that we'd walked a few hours to get there! So glad we...

We stayed in the hotel apartments 2km away from the main hotel... they were huge and housed in a 12th century castle, we had 3 entire floors to ourselves with our own private massive SPA (jacuzzi, sauna) in the basement, on top of that the views from the apartments are amazing and if you really want access to the hotel...

This is a very special hotel and there is no better place to stay and relax around the festival that is L'Eroica. There is superb dining (see reviews), an incomparable terrace for the exceptionally fine buffet breakfast overlooking the hills and valley of vines; swimming, tennis, a pleasant garden. The standard rooms have very high quality fittings and amenity although...

This is comparable to a Four Seasons experience. Converted monastery experience makes it truly unique and memorable: from the structure itself, to the setting, to the spectacular views out EVERY window, to the one-of-a-kind style setting and decor...this place is incredible. Our suite of 2 bedrooms/2 baths was gorgeous....super clean and equipped with every little luxury. Staff was extremely pleasant....

This is a really beautiful hotel with amazing views and great amenities. You'll want to take pictures everywhere you look, the surroundings are just that gorgeous. We were only here for 1 night, but found it to be a nice retreat after a couple of days in the relatively big city of Florence. The rooms are nice and spacious with...

Arrived early and were able to check in at 12pm. We asked for a valley view room at booking, and were upgraded to a Superior room with amazing valley views (room 35 above the Spa facility). Corner room with splendid timber vaulted ceiling and antique furnishings. Food was great and the overall experience was amazing. Highly recommended, even just for...
