This is a lovely 1920's hotel, situated in historic Asolo. The service was excellent and the owners and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view. The we had 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners at the hotel and the food was excellent. They have, in addition to their regular menu, a...

I had the good fortune of selecting this stunning hotel for one night, during my four week road trip through Italy and loved it! The location was perfect, parking was available and dinner on the terrace overlooking the town and surrounding countryside was excellent! It's so beautiful, I would have loved to stay longer. The staff was very welcoming and...

I am sorry to say that it was the biggest disappointment of our trip. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. It is graded as a 5 star hotel, we paid 300 euro per night & were expecting to spoil ourselves. We were very disappointed. The room was dated & cheaply decorated. The wardrobes were made out of ply...

Albergo Al Sole is situated in the village of Asolo. Asolo is a lovely small town with beautiful old porticos you walk along looking into the tiny interesting shops filled with interesting cheeses, prosciutto and clothes and shoes. The Hotel has an unbeatable location overlooking the centre of the village, a beautifully designed but warmly welcoming interior, impeccable service and...

Just completing a three night stay at the Albergo Al Sole. It has been superb! Great rooms, terrific restaurant and a magical setting! Asolo is a great base for exploring the cities of Padova and Vicenza and this is the best hotel in town! Try to get a room facing the square and the valley below.

The Albergo is located on the edge of a small, medieval village called Asolo. It overlooks a little plaza surrounded by an Enoteca, a museum, the church, a café, a gelateria and a fountain. Behind it on a hill (which to climb is a nice work out) are the remains of an medieval castle which offers a fantastic 360 degree...

Asolo is such a beautiful picturesque place to visit and this is the hotel you need to stay in. Sit on the balcony for dinner, enjoy the spectacular views, go to sleep and wake up to see it all again as the day breaks at breakfast with the church bells chiming, a calm stillness. Stunning is an understatement. I tend...

We stayed here for three nights as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The hotel is on the "older" side with some rooms being better than others. Our room was in the front and had a great view of the town piazza. However, the bathroom needed to be updated. It had a tall bathtub with a hand held shower....

The location in one of Northern Italy’s most charming towns is wonderful. Many of the rooms command a breathtaking view of the town and landscape and dinner on the terrace is a treat! The rooms are pleasant and well furnished. The menu is not large, but the meals so much the more delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful and all...

What an absolute gem! This hotel and historic precinct is well worth the effort to leave the beaten track. It's an absolutely stunning village with meandering covered portico's and a great selection of restaurants. Sitting at the top of the square, like the diamond in the crown is Albergo Al Sole, a true gem. Stunning boutique appointments, lovely friendly service...
