Cozy, warm and inviting!, beautiful scenery. We were there during Olympic ski trials. Went to ski training school. Truly breathtaking. Meals were delicious by the fireplace. Plenty of snow. Either hotel rooms or individual cabins.
Great place and food in very nice surroundings. Pets no problem and rooms very nice. Ask for a room with a view of Gaustatoppen. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Prices are high in Norway so do not expect any bargain.
Interior face lifting has given the hotel the quality we missed some years ago. And of course we still have the stunning view of (Mount Gausta) Gaustatoppe. The kitchen was good, however, I would like to see a more interesting winelist.
Not very impressive food but good breakfast.

Very good service, the staff was nice, the bartender was good and the music was terrible, the DJ was not very up to date
We stayed two nights at Gaustablikk. Our room was facing the Gausta mountain so we had great views. Staff at the reception was nice. The room was clean except for some flies and other insects behind the curtains by the window when we arrived. Wifi...More
