#1 of 4 B&Bs / Inns in Arta
The Hotel Casal d‘Artà is located in the heart of Artà right in front of the town hall square. Appointed with partially antique furniture meeting a modern and clear interior in the rooms, the town house offers traditional Majorcan style and ambiance to its guests. • The hotel has seven double rooms and two individual rooms. There is a nice café on the groundfloor where breakfast is served. • The sunny rooftop terrace has a stunning view all around to the castle of Sant Salvador and over the roofs of Artà even until the coast of Majorca’s northeast. A beautiful place to enjoy the sun, to relax and to have get-together with a glass of wine. • The pedestrian street with lots of nice shops, cafés, bars and restaurants is just a few steps around the corner. • Our reception is open from 9:00H – 13:00H except of Wednesdays and from 17:00H – 19:00H except of Sundays and Wednesdays • We offer you a rich continental breakfast in a familiar atmosphere from 8:30H – 10:30H (February until October)

I was late checking in, but Connie stayed behind and waited an hour for me. That was the first extra mile. There were others. I've forgotten the name of the lady who served breakfast, but she was also delightful. I wasn't on Mallorca to be in Arta, specifically, but I'm glad I went out of my way to stay at the Casal D'Arta. Terrific.

We booked this hotel direct having looked on the website and sent several emails to clarify things. The website quite clearly says that every room has air conditioning, TV, and safe. In our communication with the owner, who always seemed very helpful, she said she would allocate one of her more spacious rooms on the second floor. Based on the information we had gathered and along with the 5 star reviews on Trip Adviser, we were very much looking forward to our stay. It was a hot evening when we arrived so we were glad we had booked a room with air conditioning. Due to some issues at the airport we arrived around 8.30p.m. to be shown to our room by a member of staff who could not speak much English. We immediately looked for the air conditioning to which she pointed to an old fashioned 'blower' in the corner which at that time was making no impression in terms of reducing the room temperature. It was clear this was not air conditioning but we assumed it may have just been switched on so thought it might turn out to be okay. Unfortunately when we returned to the room it was extremely hot and as we initially thought the 'blower' had no affect whatsoever. We ended up getting no sleep at all . As no staff stay at the hotel we couldn't speak to anyone about it but in desperation at around 2.30a.m. sent an email to the owner explaining that the room was so hot that it was impossible to sleep and that we booked the room based on it having air conditioning, as stated on her website. From the website we were also expecting a TV and safe in the room and as they were not there we also pointed this out to the owner. The room was very basic; there was a bed, a luggage holder, a wardrobe with drawers that didn't open but no chair. When we saw the owner before breakfast she said she had received our email and apologised that the hotel's official website did say that each room had air conditioning, TV and safe which isn't correct. She said that 'Booking.com's' website had the correct information but not hers. The sad thing is that the hotel's public areas was fitting with the building and quite characterful. The breakfast was also very good and she was able to supply us with gluten free bread which was very much appreciated. We for obvious reason decided to leave; the owner reduced the nights stay by 5Eur.

Lovely hotel, full of character and quite breathtaking. Room 2 has an amazing bathroom with large corner bath. The roof terrace took our breath away with views of the town, monastery and mountains. Service was excellent and the breakfast an amazing choice and quantity of breads, cheeses, meats, fruits, cereal, pastries etc. Additional eggs cooked to your liking. We fully recommend this hotel and look forward to our next stay there. Angela & Jon.
