I've stayed in many hotels and this is by far my favourite. I couldn't believe my eyes and senses when we arrived ... it was like entering an oasis of calm and beauty. Not only that but the service is simply wonderful and the owner is so kind and thoughtful. Will stay there again in a heartbeat when I go back to magical Mallorca.

Yartan Boutique Hotel far exceeded our expectations. There is a charming and homely atmosphere here that pictures alone cannot capture. The hotel (feels wrong calling it that), is built on the idea that guests should feel like they are at home. They should feel free to roam around the establishment, taking drinks from the honesty bar at their own leisure, and enjoying the various places and spaces of the villa, uninterrupted by a flurry of loud guests and hurried staff typical to larger hotels. Lounging by the pool, you relax in a garden of native plants, with only the fragrance of Rosemary wafting over, and the calming sound of the nearby water fountain. This 18th century, converted mansion is rich in history and thoughtfully renovated to enhance is natural dreamy charm. The rooms are designed in earthy tones and textures, free from clutter and unnecessaries. You’re only a walk from charming shops and cafes, other historic sites, and a short cruise to long and clean beaches. There are many more secret treasures to this home away from home. I would encourage any traveller seeking to “switch off” to find themselves here.

This is a recently (April 2019) opened boutique hotel in the hear of Arta. As such the hotel sets, and generally meets, a high standard for itself. The staff are welcoming and attentive, the breakfasts are excellent offering a variety of continental and freshly cooked options. There is a well stocked honesty bar and a separate wine bodega. The whole place has a relaxed atmosphere, especially the outdoor pool and garden area. Central Arta with it restaurants, bars and cafes are a very short stroll away from here. Two small draw backs. The first is that finding the hotel itself, at least on the first occasion isn't easy, given the complicated one way sytem in operation in the village. My tip is follow the signs for Centro Salut, the hotel entrance is opposite and there's limited parking further up the street. The second is that if you have the ground floor room at the front of the hotel (Sa Calobra) then there will be some street noise and also some low level noise - background music and conversations - from the reception area. That being said, this was a great place to stay for a short atmospheric break.

Thank you for your informative feedback. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us in Yartan, we know that it is difficult to find as it is in the center of the village with very small roads, it is a great idea to follow the signs to the medical centre. We look forward to seeing you again.

Wow, pretty much some’s this place up. A stunning modern boutique hotel in the heart of Artà. As I write this review I’m staring out a cold, rainy British day wishing that I was back in Artà :-) Rene and Annelise the couple who run the hotel made us feel extremely welcome from our arrival to departure. We were very fortunate to be upgraded (room 101) on arrival so, had a room overlooking the pool and outside area. Our room was simple in design but at the same time felt quite luxurious from the very comfortable super king bed to the lovely en-suit with large rainfall shower with lovely toiletries. The room had double glazed windows to reduce what little noise there was and, a favourite of mine, origianl solid wood shutters to keep out the morning light. My only and very small complaint is that, there are no hooks to hang the towels or robes in the bathroom. Rene or Annelise, give all the guests a tour of the hotel, so you’ll know where everything from the well-stocked and exceptionally well-priced honesty bar to sauna are. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a good selection of cereals and continental breakfast available, plus eggs fried, scrambled (or poached if you ask really nicely, thanks Annelise they were great!!) We drove from the airport and on arrival initially parked at the free car park on the north side of the town, about a 5-8 minute walk. However once accustomed to the narrow streets we managed to park close to the hotel. The hotel doesn’t do evening meals, but in all honesty it matters not as there are a dozen plus restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, from traditional Spanish to Chinese and Indian, and thankfully no cheap fake British pubs or chippies. On that note the town centre is clean and well maintained as in my experience most Spanish towns are, and full of small independent boutique’y shops. It’s not the cheapest of towns but well worth it.
