I usually stay away from very small hotels and B&B places due to lack of privacy since the hosts always feel they need to entertain you. The hotel Ca'n Morague is different, no problem if you want to hide away. You do not even see the staff eccept during breakfast time if you chose to have breakfast at the hotel. You get you key, your security codes and can come and go from the building whenever feel like it without seeing anyone or being seen There is a complete bar in the library and refreshment options in the lobby, you can take whatever you want, any time you want, it works with an honour system. You can get in touch with the owner by phone if you have special needs for assistance, there are always eager to help you. During my stay the hotel celebrated the 20th anniversary of its opening and beside the owners' closest friends and relatives all guests were invited for a party of typicsl Mallorcan part food, cava and wine. Since I had to leave early in the morning before any staff arrived at the hotel, the manager made sure I receive an extra 6 am wakeup call from the private home of one of his staff members, to make sure i do not miss my bus. Whenever i had concerns all issues were treated and accommodated in a very result oriented manner to my complete satisfaction. Also fine details like extra items of practical nature were provided in the bathroom. My husband and I have just returned from the Hotel Can Moragues in Arta - it was perfect for a peaceful holiday, luckily in the sun, for 5 days. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with high ceilings, beams, and tastefully decorated. There are lots of little nooks and crannies where guests can sit and relax - everyday we spent an hour or two in the garden enjoying the peace and quiet. Our room was spotlessly clean with a super-comfortable bed, good bathroom. The staff were very hard working and helpful - we would certainly return if we return to Arta.

This was a relatively last minute booking as we fancied a night in Arta. Had a queen bedded room - a small room, bed not overly comfortable but a large, clean bathroom with shower over bath ( no grab rail). The buffet breakfast did not inspire us so we went to local cafe round the corner, which was lovely. Nice patio area. Honesty bar. Friendly, helpful staff. Property situated centrally so excellent position for a good mooch around. Hotel sympathetically furnished and well maintained.

To be clear, we have not stayed in this hotel, as we cancelled our booking of which we have a confirmation. Suddenly we received a phone call why we didn't check in claiming we made a new booking. Something which did not happen, and of which we could not find any confirmation. Nevertheless they claimed the whole 3 night stay from our credit card. Would never go here as the hotel management did absolutely nothing to come to a reasonable solution. Please watch out!

Dear guest, We regret this incovenience, it is the first time that happens to us. I think it is convenient explain the hotel situation trying to avoid situations like this in the future. Firstly, you made a booking at our establishment which, was calcelled and you made sure of it, by calling the hotel, as you well said. After this, you made a new booking for others dates of stay, which has never been canceled. That is why the establishment charged the amount of the cancellation policy once you had not shown up at the hotel. This policy is detailed in the booking confirmation. We regret that you have not made sure that the second booking made by you, it has not been cancelled. You could have called to the hotel like you did in the first time to be sure if you had any problem. From the hotel management we always try to find the best solution for our clients, provided that it is not to the detriment of the establishment, as it has happened in this case because the room was booking for you and as a result it has remained empty. We are a serious company and we do not any charge to our customers except to comply with our bookings cancellation policies.

We stayed for 5 nights in early June. The room was spacious with a very high ceiling and two windows for lots of light. Two comfortable chairs and a desk. Shower over bath. Breakfasts were fine, good coffee. Small courtyard garden and dipping pool The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is close by. Lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Arta is a lovely town. Had a very relaxing time - would definitely go back to this hotel!!
