Stayed here for five nights during the feast of St Antony. It was wonderful to see the children from the local school performing in the square just a few steps from Ca Sa Padrina. This small hotel ticked all our boxes - quiet, comfortable bed, nice terrace and lovely manager, Xavier. He provided us with excellent breakfasts and was very attentive. Unfortunately the small pool was out of action during our stay. The only downsides that it is VERY difficult to find! Artá is a maze of such narrow streets. Leave your car at a public free parking and walk for 3 or 4 minutes - so much easier!

The man who runs it is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. - The bed was comfortable -Shower water pressure great and hot. -The size of the room was perfect for bags (we didn't have any). -Very clean, attentive room service. -Gorgeous patio and pool area. If it wasn't February we would've loved to sit outside and enjoy the space. -Quiet neighborhood -Easy key system to get in and out of the front door The star of the stay was breakfast. I couldn't believe how much you got included in the stay. 3 kinds of fresh fruit, muffins, ensaimada, scrambled eggs, unlimited toast and coffee (or tea). Fresh orange juice. For German guests there was a variety of cold cuts and cheeses. If you didn't like any of that there were two types of cereal you could pick from. I think for the price it was reasonable since it's a nice place and breakfast is included.

We stayed hear for 2 nights and were very pleased with our choice. This hotel despite being difficult to find is in a great central location. Our small double room was comfortable with everything we needed. The bed was very comfy with nice linen. The shower was fab. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, more than we expected.

We stayed in the family suite in the winter time. While the owner is indeed friendly and the breakfast of good quality, I was very disappointed with the comfort of the suite. It was not warm enough when we arrived, and both the heating system and the poor insulation of the building made it difficult to reach a pleasant temperature. We were very cold for the first 24 hours. But the worst part is the bathroom: for a party of 4 people, there is one toilet in the suite, which is also where the only shower is, an old one with very low water pressure, and no heating in the room. If guests are using water in the lower floors, barely a few drops make it to the suite above, so it can be a long and cold shower. Besides that rustic, small toilet/shower room, there is no private bathroom, only an old sink in the corridor leading to one of the rooms. The equipment is that of a tired 2* hotel for the price of a 4* "boutique hotel".

So glad I stumbled upon this place... We (2 adults and 2 children age 9 & 12) stayed here for 3 nights in August. We had a family room which was more like a small apartment. It had 2 bedrooms, a lounge area with T.V, 2 balconies (lovely view over the rooftops), a good shower and a little kitchen area (no cooker or hob but sink and fridge) with table. Xavier was there to meet us on arrival and could't have been more helpful. Breakfast was amazing - fresh orange juice, pastries, toast, cold meats and eggs of your choice. Oh, and Xavier's home made jams!!! When Xavier and Cristina realised our son was gluten free they did all they could and produced gluten free biscuits and bread for him. We felt well looked after and that nothing was too much of a problem. Our kids had a lovely time perfecting their swimming strokes in the small pool in the courtyard - watched by Dad by the side and me from above on our balcony! Arta is nice and we found some good places to eat just a short stroll away from the hotel. You can park a car near the hotel on the street but they are narrow so be careful! Only downside is the early bells - boy do they like ringing bells in Arta! On the positive - it got us up so we could get a full day in exploring the island! Can't recommend this place highly enough - we really enjoyed our stay!
