As mentioned in reviews before, the finca is squeezed between two rather busy roads, which cause kind of background noise. But also true, the surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. Therefore, we wouldn't rate this a problem. The finca itself has a rustic and original feel. The looks are quite ancient. Is it designed like that or is it a real...

Son Esteve is an interesting and lovely place to stay, so much nicer than an impersonal modern hotel. The standard rooms are clean and comfortable opening out into a lovely room full of fabulous antique furniture where guests can sit and relax. Bernat, our host, made us feel very welcome and took time to show us the fascinating old olive press and origional...

Son esteve is in the middle of nowhere what is to be expected for a finca but is also next to the highway. (Google maps), The breakfast is a disaster, no choice at all and everything is calculated by the gram, two dried out slices of ham and cheese, no,yoghurt or cereals. The room size was ok but the bed...

Bernat's breakfast menus are not only sufficient to sustain you for much of the day, they also provide an intriguing introduction to Mallorcan cuisine. No two days are the same. The suites are peaceful and beautifully equipped and have their own terraces. The outdoor shower is delightful. All of this only a few moments from the restaurants and shops in...

We really enjoyed our visit: instantly putting us in mallorcan relaxed mode. Fabulous home made food; put in a request for dinner. You will not be disappointed. Unlike some others, probably prefer the regular room to the junior suite.

We had a wonderful time here. The room and bathroom were always clean, the breakfasts fulfilling and unique and the host Bernat was utterly charming. It was as if we had our own pool too! Great location for dinners in Port D'Andratx or day trips into Palma or further around the island. Hire car is a must. My only negative...

After our stay at Son Viscos agroturismo hotel in Valldemossa, we were sold on the concept of converted traditional farm houses to bed-and-breakfasts. Son Esteve was no exception, and this hotel has an added attraction - a swimming pool in the lovely garden area. After a long day´s hike in the mountain area, a refreshing dip was very welcome. To...

We continued our honeymoon, after 3 beautiful days in Pollenca. Andratx is very different - you cannot really walk from the Finca into town, and I don't think the town has as much going on as Pollenca. Port d'Andratx is only a short drive away however. We splashed out on one of the junior suites - very novel - the...

A lovely old finca with two wonderful deluxe suits. When shown, we couldn't resist paying the extra for them. They boasted an in and the outdoor shower, a huge sunken tub, private balcony overlooking the swimming pool and vineyard beyond. Breakfast is served outside in the courtyard, fresh and homemade. The hotel only has 7 double rooms, we often we...

A lovely finca, well situated - peaceful with interesting views, yet accessible. Our suite boasted its own secluded terrace complete with outdoor shower - a unique experience! (There was an indoor shower too!) The bedroom was chic and comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing - an idiosyncratic medley of home-made Mallorcan delights: sobrasada toasts, stuffed dates, meat pies and custard tarts,...
