We chekced in and were provided with a charming room overlooking the gardens. The price seemd reasoable at €116 for a double room with breakfast. The Parador, which was fomerly an abbey, is very elegantly furnished with lovely gardens. Although the rooms are very pelasant we were distrubed by the television attached to the wall of the adjacent room. This...

Chinchon is a very convenient overnight stop if you are driving from one end of the country to the other, as it is midway between Santander and southern Spain. It is also close to Madrid. The hotel is in a beautiful building formerly an Augustin monastery which has been very skilfully adapted to its present-day use. The decoration and interior...

Chinchon is a very special place, and the Parador is in itself very special. The rooms are spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. I could go on and on but my advice is to go and see for yourself. This is my 2nd visit to Chinchon and it won't be my last!

Wonderful accomodation. Nice, spaceous room. Swimming pool is superb, but closes at 8pm. Very charming patio for diner, unless you are unlucky it starts to rain a little bit; then the patio is immediatly closed and the diner goes on inside the restaurant. When it stops raining after 5 minutes, the patio stays closed for the whole evening ... a...

We have stayed here on several occassions and have never been disappointed. Our room was at the back of the hotel facing the garden and was spacious, clean and comfortable - also lovely and quiet. The staff were all charming and nothing was too much trouble. Nice swimming pool and ample sunbeds to go around. The lock up garage across...

A really lovely looking hotel in the quiet village of chinchon. Pool area looks great although like most paradors only open from mid-june to mid-september despite the fact it is very hot in early June. Disappointingly our room was just not clean which is really unusual for a Parador and the fact that this was supposed to be their best...

My sister and I attended a lovely wedding in Chinchon and stayed in this hotel for one night. The wedding reception was also at the Parador. Friendly staff, lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings, great food... I run out of words. We would have wanted to stay here for longer!

My wife and I stayed for almost a week in this wonerful hotel. There's not a great deal to do in Chinchon itself but the cloistered outdoor pool on a hot and sunny July day was wonderfully relaxing. We wish we had made more use of the restaurant as the food was excellent and reasonably prioced...especially when compared to some...

I haven't stayed in this hotel but we stopped for coffee when we were visiting this lovely town. At a minimum, stop for a coffee. The hotel is a wonderful showcase for what the Spanish authorities are doing in the Paradore chain, to turn beautiful old buildings into viable places. They have restored it beautifully, you feel the peace of...
