On booking.com it has a 7.2 rating... I can only surmise this is fake as this place could possibly damage your health and your sanity. Dirty is a word that doesn't truly describe this place with stained bed sheets, filthy worn carpets and furniture that looks like its come from a skip, Only one member of staff on site who...

We decided to stay here last minute, and wasn't really expecting much, but we had the attic room and it was lovely, the view over the harbour was fantastic!! The only thing that I think could be improved is if they had bath towels in the room, luckily we had packed one, but except for that it was a lovely...

the room used to be an office with office ceiling tiles all night every night people were walking around, large groups of eastern europeans smoking at the main entrance and young children running around late because its used by the local council for emergency housing

Very cramped room. I wouldn't have booked this myself. Felt very claustrophobic as room was very small. Bathroom had no window so made room very very hot. Door for bath room wouldn't fully open, bed uncomfortable and walls very thin. Fair to say, I was so happy to leave and go home the next day...

Awful place , wouldn't recommend it to anyone , the receipt says acorn lodge care Ltd ?? Its the only b&b I've ever been to that didn't offer a breakfast , I do think its a bail hostel as when you book in it says administration as opposed to reception .,.

Stayed here for the night whilst visiting Portsmouth historic dock yard and the staff were really friendly. The room was a good size and clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a good night stay. 8 minutes walk from the Gosport ferry to Portsmouth so it was in an ideal location.

This B & B with no breakfast is the worst place we have ever stayed !! Only saw one young man (maybe the manager) twice over our 2 night stay Once when we checked in and once to ask for a bulb for the bedside lamp and a pillowcase for the pillow !! Was clean but in desperate need of...

Needed a place to stay for one night ...the description seemed to fit but not the reality ! To be fair the issue could be with booking.com , it was 45mins drive from where it was described , no facilities other than the room - if you're looking for a basic bed then Ok but no breakfasts and really expensive...

On the down side the Acorn lodge double room was a little small and doesn't do breakfast. On the plus side the rooms are clean tidy and adequately equipped, and we had a warm and friendly greeting on arrival and the service was very good.
