Had an absolutely delightful stay with Jessica and her precious animals (dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, and sheep). We found the place with helpful directions from the local pub-goers. There is a gated driveway and we were told to park in the covered barn, which was nice. Jessica greets you with a smile and a quick tour to get acquainted with... More

Lovely countryside, wide skies and long views. Room large and comfortable with many individual touches. Jessica is the most helpful and considerate.host and it was a true pleasure to have the justly famed breakfast in her lovely home. The weather was hot and sunny so we didn't go anywhere; this is a great place for just enjoying the countryside in... More

I was in two minds about whether or not to write this. On the one hand, I wanted to let the world know about our wonderful, albeit it all-too-brief stay. On the other, I was tempted to let it be our little secret. In the end, I decided to do the right thing. Located in the heart of Jane Austen... More

This was a most comfortable B&B with a good bed and shower. The proprietor went out of her way to be friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were outstanding. The views of the countryside are very pretty as were the rose gardens in the courtyard near the bedrooms. It was quiet. You can drive to a very good restaurant which is... More

Attended a wedding and stayed here for two nights. Room was large and very clean. Bed comfortable and we loved the quilt so much that we bought one for our home. The hostess, Jessica could not have been more helpful or friendly and we thought the breakfast (especially her wonderful signature omelette) was fabulous. We enjoyed the company of the... More

What a fantastic place. I stayed for the weekend while attending a nearby wedding. The grounds are beautifully maintained, nothing out of place and an amazing view across the valley from the rooms. M room was large and tastefully decorated and even included a selection of books. Other thoughtful touches were tea and coffee making facilities, chocolates, free WiFi, toiletries... More

Being fairly local we first visited Scotland Farm to buy some bedding. The B&B was such a pleasant surprise that we booked a short break on the spot. Having just spent the bank holiday weekend there I can happily echo previous reviewers' comments. The farmhouse / courtyard accommodation and grounds are immaculate with stunning views. Our room was spacious, tastefully... More
