We visited for two nights with a group of fellow cyclists and took four rooms. Our hosts are genuinely hospitable, the rooms were excellent, top rate breakfast and they parked our bikes in their garage and helped us book restaurants for the evening. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

We are pleased that your group all enjoyed their stay with us. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you all and we hope that you had a good time in Corbridge after you left us. Thank you for finding time to leave this feedback. We value the feed back and future guests will appreciate it too.

Most definitely the friendliest B&B experience we've ever had. Lovely house and garden, very clean and comfortable rooms (including teddy bears) a wonderful breakfast and a pleasant lounge downstairs to chill out in. And extremely cycle friendly too with plenty of space to look after bikes overnight. We can't recommend this B&B highly enough. It's only a short walk to...

Thank you so much for your kind words. We enjoy having people to share our house so it was our pleasure. We are grateful that you felt able to leave this lovely review. Christine likes the Teddy Bears as they remind her of me. Short, fat & hairy!! We do hope that we will see you again sometime soon.

After searching for a place to stay while exploring Hadrian's Wall, I fell in love with Ashcroft Guest House from their website. It was even more beautiful in person! We spent two nights here and Geoff and Christine were just wonderful hosts. Our room was huge and so beautifully decorated with a view of their fabulous gardens. We even got...

Four of us were cycling Hadrian's Cycleway so we only stayed one night but I'd return anytime without question. The whole experience of staying there was first class. If you are staying in Haltwhistle book Ashcroft you'll not have the smallest regret.

My husband and I spent two nights at Ashcroft while touring Hadrian's Wall. It was an amazing stay! Geoff and Christine are excellent hosts and cannot do enough for you! Our room was large, tastefully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The gardens and grounds surrounding Ashcrost are very beautiful. It was delightful to sit among the flowers drinking...

We are incredibly grateful to you for choosing to stay with us on your busy to our area. It is extremely civilised to be able to enjoy a glass of wine amongst the flowers on a sunny day. We are fortunate to have such a lovely garden and all the hard work keeping it tidy is justified when we see...

Geoff and Christina went out of their way to help us. When we realized the bus would not be a very efficient way to see the wall, Geoff found a wonderful guide on a moment's notice. Christine even drove us and our luggage back to the train station! The house is lovely, the room was huge, and everything in it...

Thank you for your kind review. It was our great pleasure to meet you both and we are pleased that you enjoyed your time in Haltwhistle. Apparently Peter Carney is worth every penny for his knowledge about Hadrians Wall, according to guests who have been out with him. We will keep an eye out for you the next time we...

After hiking four many hours on our first leg of the Hadrian Wall Path, we felt we had found a little piece of Paradise when our driver dropped us at Ashcroft Hall. Colorful Spring flowers greeted us from Geoff's exceedingly well kept garden beds and planters all around. The view out to the south over this sprawling front yard was...

The room was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was the best of our week's bike ride along Hadrian's Wall. Christine was charming and welcoming, as was her husband, and full of helpful advice. Secure lockup for our bikes.

Thank you for your comments, and indeed your stay with us. We were so pleased to be able to accommodate you on your adventure. A cyclists breakfast is the equivalent of the fuel in a car so is very important and we are pleased that you enjoyed it. I find that Christine is always full of advice, especially as to...

We stayed for 4 nights over Easter. Chris and Geoff were great hosts, they went out of their way to be helpful, taking a keen interest in our plans to be able to offer us a wealth of local knowledge. WOW!! Thank you so much for your kind words. It is reviews like this that make it all worthwhile.
