Stayed here 2 nights at the start of our Kintyre Way walk. Isobel was a super generous host - the days began with the biggest bowls of fresh fruit anyone could ever wish for (and not a tinned citrus in sight!) Our first day of walking was very wet and Isobel kindly dried our sopping clothes. A warm, homely welcome...

This lovely B&B is located in the small fishing town of Tarbert, a few miles from the Kennacraig ferry port – ideal to fit in with early or late crossings. My husband and I spent two nights here while walking the Kintyre Way. It was perfect- a comfortable and clean room, a quiet setting though only 5 minutes walk from town, and most importantly, a fabulous hostess who went out of her way to accommodate our needs and who has a great knowledge of where to go in Tarbert. We...

What makes it so special is this B&B, which we have been staying at for the 8 last years in a row. The best landlady we've ever had the pleasure of staying with makes...

Isabel looks after her guests marvellously. The rooms are comfortable and large. She will be able to deal with the one or two small maintenance problems when the various other matters she has on her plate are resolved. Very comfortable.

Isabel will be your hostess and you couldn't ask for a more pleasant, accomodating and generous person. She is an absolute love and nothing you ask is too much for her.Our stay,as always, was wonderful. The room is lovely and quiet,in a peaceful location, close to Tarbert so you can walk straight into town, be at the centre within 5mins and then good...

I booked this having read the glowing reviews, however, I didn't feel it lived up to it's reputation. Isabel greeted us by informing us that she calls it Fawlty Towers as things always go wrong. We had the front room that appears in the photos, and it superficially looked quite nice, but it was quite dusty and the curtain was...
