For a trip to Snowdonia ; make sure to book and stay at the Porthmadog-Travelodge. It is located a short 10-min walk from the Town Centre, and is a very well presented Travelodge , with a large car-park. The Rooms & Beds are exceptionally comfortable, and are ideal for both Business & Leisure.

A very nice clean Travelodge with pleasant staff. Excellent value for money and although just on the outskirts of Porthmadog within easy reach of the amenities. No worse a location than most Travelodges and it was very quiet. Excellent cafes in Porthmadog offering breakfast etc. We ate in the Grapevine on the road to Tesco and it was excellent, fantastic... A basic Travelodge to say the least... But, quite close to town, clean and tidy, very pleasant staff, we had a bottle of wine and no corkscrew, a quick pop down to reception 'et voila..' one corkscrew... then the lady asked me if I would like to borrow a couple of glasses too... ample parking.. Bed, extremely comfy indeed.. What... More

Good basic accommodation, but i wish Travelodge offered facilities for a proper breakfast. Rooms while adequate feel a little mean in size when compared to competitor brands. Siting on a industrial estate I would not the best place to be.

The hotel is perfectly good, clean everything you should need. We were disturbed from about 7.45pm until 12.45 am the next day by children ,about 7 I counted, running and playing in the corridor outside our room. Management apologised the next morning. But nothing appeared to be done at the time.

If you looking for a comfy, clean and cheap stay this is the place. Just a few minutes away from the town centre and with a lidl and Aldi next to it. The view isn't brilliant but who cares when you have snowdonia on one side and the sea on the other.
