Nice clean room & bathroom. Close to everything. The host is a helpful lady who knows a few English words - enough to arrange the necessary activities, order dinner etc. Outside rocking chairs at your disposal which is a good thing aften a full day's action on your flat feet. They cook a decent lobster here - with all the...

These bungalow rooms have a 60s vibe, which may or may not be a good thing according to your taste. Clean bathrooms, spacious showers. As the windows give on the house courtyard, you'll hear the family chatting and laughing in the evening and the kids running around in the morning. We are not affected by noise and enjoy the buzz...

My family stayed here for one night, but we wished we had stayed longer. It's only a few blocks from the central part of town, where there are a lot of restaurants and activity. The hosts were very nice (the place is named after their kids), and it felt like staying in a friend's guest house. Recommended.

Almost every house in Vinales is a casa particular. We (two guys, aged 32) staid at this place and are happy to recommend it. Pros: - Beds are comfortable - VERY clean rooms - Extremely friendly and helpful host Alina and her family (she organizes transport, hikes, rides and excursions for you, don't go to the tourism office) - outstanding...

perfectly situated, no too far but not too close to the center that can be noisy at night. It's actually without a doubt the best food we had in cuba, especially he fish in wine and pineapple sauce. they have the best guides, really nice and professional will take you all over the valley. And Alina will help you with...

First I was disappointed that the casa across the street, which was highly recommended by the Lonely Planet was full. However this turned out to be a great place to stay. The hosts are so warm and welcoming. They cannot wait to help you with any request. Whether it is organising any kind of trip or preparing some fruits on...

On our January 2013 trip to Cuba we spent 3 nights at this wonderful casa at the end of our 17-day trip. The casa was immaculately clean and our room in the main house was large with two double beds and our own private ensuite bathroom. The beds were sufficiently comfortable and a fan and air conditioning unit was available...

My boyfriend and I just had a great vacation, travelling alone for almost a month. In November 2012, we went to Cuba for the first time and we were lucky enough to have three weeks to spend in this beautiful country. We had only one problem ~ we had booked only our first night upon arriving in Varadero and our...

The hosts were very lovely, though a bit hard to communicate if you like me dont speak spanish. The food was among the best we had in Cuba! The main problem was coacroaches, ants, mosquitos and other insects in the house, and a noisy AC, which detracted from the experience as a whole. We recommend it if your not afraid...

“On the main strip, try Los Olivos for lunch, particularly their seafood soup or goat cheese salad. So cheap and so tasty you'd think you're in San Francisco.”
