We had booked to stay in the Pink Room following comments on Tripadvisor but this room was out of service due to a leak so instead we had an Ocean Front room that was actually far nicer with an uninterrupted view of the beach and...More
Came here about 4 times in the past couple of months, each time with the hopes of a better experience. Food is always good, but some of the morning / daytime staff consistently make us feel like we are an inconvenience to them. The dinner...More
We had a wonderful time here. The food was delicious and plentiful. The room was cleaned well. The staff were helpful and some wonderful. So many activities to do you never stop and the cocktails are to die for
Service was very slow. The food was good but after visiting a few other resort restaurants I think the prices vs the portions were of less value here. On the bright side the setting is fabulous! I was hanging out with the teenager, but if...More

I was nervous, as an A/C addict myself, but between the two fans in the room and the evening breeze blowing across the bay, it was quite cool and I had no problem at all sleeping. We were there in January, again not peak heat season, but it was certainly not an issue. During the day it can get a bit close, but we weren't spending much time in the room by day.

It is very quiet with only 12 rooms. Not sure what you mean with suitable for a single female traveler. The owners are very helpful. It is quite remote 20 min by taxi to the main town also possible by bus during the week. Quite a hoot to go by bus. They have a great "associated" taxi driver that you can call and arrange tours quite easily with. He is an excellent guide and I really recommend him. If your stay is longer a rental car may be not a bad idea to be more flexible, but off the main roads can be quite an adventure.
