We stayed at the Inn for a wedding in a group of rooms. The locks were really neat to see and there was breakfast at the hotel. The manager was really nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay with family.

Very simple inn.. All the necessities nothing extra. Very clean and easy check in. Ear plugs may be helpful as the air conditioner is quite loud but not bad. The view was awesome, my kids loved seeing the ships come through. Love the free parking and breakfast. Friendly. Overall a good stay.

The front desk staff person was very attentive and friendly, however the room left a lot to be desired. The beds were not comfortable, the box springs were noisy, and they were sitting on metal bedframes. The noisy air conditioner couldn't keep up with the very hot day...fortunately we brought ear plugs. It was clean, so it is obvious they...

My family and I (me plus husband and two kids ages 9 and 11) checked in after a dance competition nearby. We were early and the room wasn't ready but the owner told us he would speak to housekeeping to make it ready straight away. We popped out for a quick lunch and returned and everything was great! Room was...

We spent a night at the Inn while visiting wine country and friends in Niagara. The Inn is located in a good position to view the large ships moving through the locks to and fro Lake Erie and Lake Ontario through the Welland Canal. We found the room clean and quiet but the whole hotel needs some upgrades to match...

Recently spent two nights at the Inn and it was very enjoyable. The room was spacious and very clean and reasonably priced. It's true it's a bit dated but we had no complaints. The balcony is fairly small but there's plenty of room for the two chairs and table. The room has a coffee maker and small fridge but no...

This is one of those "out of the ordinary" hotels. Each room has a balcony or patio with a great, close-up view of the Welland Canal Lock 7. The lock is so close that, with a good wind-up, I could probably get a baseball in the water from my balcony. Watch ships go up and down the locks all day...

Inn was very nice and clean, rooms were spacious, canal views were awesome. Location was a short drive to many of the sites in the area. Neighborhood was very quite, and a nice break from all the crowds at the Falls. Rooms were dated, but in very good shape. Breakfast was very basic.

The location for viewing ships transitting the canal is excellent, but the rooms are very dated and sadly in need of major renovations. The A/C unit was the old in- window type and it was very noisy and not very effective.

I am what my friends and family call a ship freak! I don't know how or why I am so obsessed with ships. However, if anyone like ships this is the place to stay. I stayed up all night to see the ships transit lock 7. hotel has 3 floors, the gentleman who ran the motel put us on the...
